Definitely The best part of the movie. Along with the part where he blew up the hospital. *press press* *press* *WHAM* *runs*

Heath ledger was just ****ing perfect in this movie. I love it. It's horrible that he had to go, but he left behind a CLASSIC. Though, Batmans voice in this movie is just so much more hilarious than BB. Did he swallow a couple extra frogs this time? Seriously. I wouldn't be intimidated. I'd ask him if he wanted some halls or a ricola. clear that up for him a bit.

Yea that was my favorite part to. Wondered why everyone in the movie though were trying so hard with the deep scary voices. Only joker was the realistic one talking like a normal scary person would. Awesome movie. I wish they didnt get rid of the batmobile though.... Means theres gonna be a new one!

Spielberg? It was Tim Burton.

This movie was incredible. Once again I find myself thinking "This is how 'superheroes' should be." I've always disliked superheroes and superhero stories. Batman is the exception, and this movie shows why.

The movie's pace and content were perfect. I kept thinking "man, there's no way they can wrap this all up in this movie..." but they did, and it NEVER felt tiring. It ended at the right time, on the right note...wrapped up perfectly. I also like a lot of the "getting out of the way" of some of Wayne's "constraints" (like Rachel). Now he's really free to be the horrible monster Batman has to be to serve his purpose. I LOVE the idea of the benevolent monster.

I like that they actually ENDED the major plotlines. No "two face survives to be the next villain" cliché, no "let's introduce a bunch of crap to get you interested and then end." The series could well end with this film and be fine. Certainly I'd like to see more Bale/Nolan Batman films, but it's SO REFRESHING to have a movie actually END instead of having a "sequel prep" ending.

Maggie Gyllenhaal ROCKS. Not only is she smokin' (oh, man, her halloween costume in Donnie Darko... ) but she's a HELL of a lot better actress than L. Katie Hubbard. I mean Katie Holmes. Her role was excellent and I'm glad to see they were willing to actually kill her off instead of "faking it" and then doing the "oh, she's really still alive" thing.

Ledger was fantastic as the Joker. Absolutely fantastic. I hate to say it, but he played the kind of villain I'd be if I was evil. He's nuts, enjoys being nuts, and enjoys enjoying being nuts. He's awesome. The perfect bad guy. He's just evil. That's all there is. He doesn't want anything, he's just a terrible horrible guy. You NEVER feel sorry for him, never sympathize with him, never want ANYTHING but to see him suffer like he made others suffer. THOSE are the villains that provide the best conflict, the most interesting scenarios.

I do have some nit-picks, so:There were a few CGI sequences that just looked fake. Like the helicopter crash during the big car chase scene. The way it bounced and rolled looked terrible and the lighting on it was all wrong. It looked obviously CGI and in this movie there's no excuse for that.

Two-Face's face was overdone. Both in the damage and the animation. Seen from one side, his jaw movements were more exaggerated and at different angles than the other. His teeth didn't match up, either.

I thought it was pretty clear from the beginning that the Nolan movies are a new take on things, with NO RELATION to the old Burton movies or the abominations that followed. That's why the last one was "Batman BEGINS." New take on things. Yes, it's a remake. Pretend the old ones never happened.

Also, Spielberg never did any Batman movies.

Yeah, but he's not doing that to be intimidating. He's doing it to disguise his voice.

Freakin hilarious!!

I totally agree he should get an award for his performance. I don't think any joker can live up to it.

They actually blew up a real building in Chicago to film that... instead of just a model, CGI, or some vacant lot or something. I thought that was cool.

when some thugs brought the joker to one of the mob bosses place. they claimed they had killed him.

they put him on the table in a body bag.

of course it was a setup so the joker could get inside and "recruit" that bosses group.

it's the first "how i got my scars" story. he talked about his father. it ended with "why so serious?"

some people thought it would be too traumatic to see ledger in a body bag, and the scene really doesn't have any continuity to the rest of the film.

it could have easily been omitted, but thank god they decided outherwise.

Wow, watched the late-nighter and boy was it worth it. This is the Batman that I have been waiting all along for. The conflicts, darkness, and plot I always new they could make but never did. Heath's performance has set a new bar not just for the next villan in the Batman series but for the villan role as a whole. He truly went out on top and he is greatly missed. I liked how there was more detailed research into Batman's utilities, not far-fetched like the other series. I too found Two Face a little overdone but I definitely enjoyed his role. I cant wait to see what they come up with next.

PS. "magic trick" and The Hopsital were absolutely amazing.

what made ledgers performance so awesome was the little things. Like when he used the hand sanitizer in the hospital, I lawled.

He did a much better job than nicholson did at showing just how crazy of a mother****er the joker is.

"Im like a dog chasing cars, I wouldnt know what to do with it if I cought it....I just DO things" lol

epic movie.

Anyone catch the possible CatWoman reference? Seems like no one I've talked to noticed it.

Actually, it does.

It's important for the money burning scene toward the end where the Joker discusses employing the mob boss, and the mob boss replies "my men would never work for a nut like you" or something along those lines. Then his men, having already been recruited by the Joker, turn on their former boss.

I've heard Nolan is signed on for at least one more movie, and I know Bale is signed on for 2 more I believe.

Yesssss.

Plus the main woman role is dead so they gotta replace her.

I really didn't think of it that way, but it makes sense if they do go that route.

I'm pretty sure there was a Riddler reference in this one.The guy who works at Wayne Enterprises who finds out Batman's identity. That's all straight out of the comics for the Riddler. I can't remember if the guy had the right name, though (E. Nygma). Guess I have to go see it again...

brilliant movie. it was worth watching twice. joker is my favorite villain of all time. EVER, even before it was perfectly played by ledger. He is completely insane, and accepts it for what it is, and he's brilliant, what a true villain is and suppose to be. I didnt really like two-face though, but i guess him being in the same movie with my villain...

This movie will def be the movie of the year and an instant classic in my opinion. Heath Ledgers performance was just unreal and so true to the Joker, that I wouldnt of known Heath played the role unless someone would of told me.

IMAX is a must see for this film. The flying over China scene is beautiful and the sound of the whole movie is just perfect. Some people around me jumped off of their seats from the bullet sounds sometimes.

The Joker was evil, dark, maniacal, yet so perfect. The series could easily end right here and I would not be mad at all.
