Is there any debris in front of your condenser? Increasing outlet temperature by a few degrees after 5 years is not too bad. No matter what the receipt shows they removed from the system (never includes the amount in the hoses) but even if you dropped 6 ounces that's not too bad. Have them inject some tracer dye just in case you develop a leak in the future it makes it easier to locate.SVTCOBRA wrote:04 G35 Coupe AT with 55K miles
Going in for:AC - cooling only 63 degrees - Low side is too high
Sounds like you need a new drivers seat switch. They tend to get spilled soda coffee or whatever was in the nearby cupholder and found its way into the seat switch. It is actually pretty common, no big deal.SVTCOBRA wrote:Driver seat - goes back on it's own while going down the road and will not go forward when it does this.
If the window doesn't work from the bottom it may be the switch, or the motor but when the motors usually decide to die they usually lose their auto up memory.SVTCOBRA wrote:Driver window - auto up sometimes does not work
If it doesn't fill up or fills to the normal level but the gauge fails to register there are two different components that may be at fault.SVTCOBRA wrote:Fuel gauge - does not register full
Thanks for the info Steve!!!! I checked the AC at my buddy's house. low side was around 60. He said he thought it was the exchange valve. Also the lines did not feel hot/cold.SteveTheTech wrote:

No need in that. I mean come on, you are in CA. I should have been the one offering, since I'm close.LuckyLuke wrote:Since your car in the shop... does your daughter need a ride to places?
They told me that my '03 has some warranty, but it was due to mileage. Guess on some things the year didn't matter.atn_chargers wrote:Hey, since your G is an '04...how is it still under warranty? Do you have extended warranty?
I purchased it used last summer with 44K miles on her. Stopped by my local Nissan dealer and picked up an extended warranty for 3 years just in case, since it was used. Lots of markup in those extended warranties....How many miles are on yours??? Will check with my dealer to see about your 03.atn_chargers wrote:Hey, since your G is an '04...how is it still under warranty? Do you have extended warranty?
Appreciate the fact that you are so concerned about ....ME! Daughter has car. Daddy does not...LuckyLuke wrote:Since your car in the shop... does your daughter need a ride to places?

Actually paid employee price. I did shop around - even one of our sponsors told me that after checking with his manager he couldn't even get close, so I have no complaints!Poyzinous wrote:I dont know what you paid for your warranty but believe it or not, the mark ups aren't bad actually. (says my salesman buddy) I got 4 years 50,000 miles addded to my deal for $1250. or maybe it was $1080. Something like that.
