Well guys, I'm sure I can't be the only one who lives far north enough to be sick of this winter. When I woke up this morning, it was -31C (-24F) on my way to work. I bought my 95' Z32 in the first week on January (terrible time to buy a convertible if I may say so) and I've been patiently waiting for my first driving season with the new car. With February coming to a close, I'm hoping to be less than 2 months away from my first drive! The one benefit of buying the car WELL before I'm able to actually take it out of my garage is that I've had time to do some servicing while it's parked. I was also able to put a new deck in it (the previous owner was still rocking a tape deck), and buy new tires and wheels and a spoiler while I wait. I really think I found a gem with this car. It's a 1995 300zx Convertible with 130,000km (~80,000 mi). Never seen a Canadian winter (lucky bugger) or even rain for that matter. 1 previous owner (in his 60's) bought the car brand new, so I'm thinking mid-life crisis car. All regular servicing done and the only reason he sold it is he was having trouble climbing in and out of it. When she comes out of hibernation, I'll be posting more pics then some of my FB friends and their new-borns!
Long story short, I'm counting down the days to get this thing on the road...April/May cannot come soon enough!
Any other cold weather Z-owners dying for this weather to leave and get back on the road??
