hokay, i picked up 16g speaker cable and a switch, soldered the switch into the b/p wire... try to turn the car on and it just keeps turning over. flipped the switch, and more of the same. I think i can hear the FP ticking or something when i flip it but it still won't fire up. halp?Is there a certain kind of switch i'm supposed to get? I used this one...http://www.radioshack.com/prod...earch3A @ 125VAC1A @ 250VAC

lol just made a kill switch was pretty easy.

but on my 1990 240 coupe sr20det the wire to cut was already cut and was wired into some adapter thingy so i matched the wire and cute the red one with a white line and like silver space dots. hit the switch and the engine bogged and flipped it back and it was idling normal and took it for a little test drive before mounting the switch.

here are some plain and simple pictures for those dummies making their life hard trying this mod with no results.. as you can see located the black and brown wire i think is brown ..then cut it about 6 inches from the harnes .. i used butt connectors and 16 g wire and wrapped them in black electrical tape...then you just connect the two ends to the switch ingnore the extra connection is just for ground if you have a light on your switch ..now hide yours were ever you want be creative hope this helped the slow people haha it should only take about 20 min with the right tools

I did mine similar to this but instead of using the wire at the ECU i used the one at the relay. Same difference I guess.

Another way is to put a switch into the fuel pump relay.
