back when they purchased Jaguar, not only did they take the quality of Jaguar down a couple of notches, but they modeled that year's Ford Taurus almost exactly like the Jaguar S type.

Now they have took the headlights of the new Honda Accord, blended it with the side profile of a chryster 300, and took the *** from the depths of the abyss...

and they didn't take anything from honda, what they did was take the kinetic design language seen on the ford mondeo car of europe and blended it to the interceptor concept they did a while ago.

At least you'll have a rare car for 20 seconds, the moment it rolls out of the dealership, it'll be in pieces on the floor.

That being said tho... no one wants to see such a big corporation go down, the US is struggling as it is.

How is this "the competition"? The Taurus is a Full size Sedan (just a renamed Ford 500, to compete with the Chrysler 300). Altima's are a size smaller, and without fact checking I'm guessing a price point smaller as well.

The Fusion would be Fords competition for the Altima.

The Taurus might be competition for the Maxima. I don't think the Maxima should worry.

It's about time they brought their best selling car EVER back. Ford were morons for removing it from the lineup and replacing it with the Five Hundred. Idiots.

Ford then took the the Taurus name and stuck it to the 500 to boost sales.

My moms got an 08 Taurus (the first year they brought the Taurus name back), and i have to say that it is a more solid feeling car than my Alti. There are no rattles or noises when driving in the Taurus....i have to turn my music up when its cold out just to drown out all the rattles in my Alti

Ford isn't as bad as the other 2. They are stupid tho. They have such a great cars in Europe and they giving the North Americans a crap. Well that seems to be in the past anyways.

They are planning to bring 5 small cars from Europian division to North America. Include the Ford Focus Europian and some other small cars. If they do that and they just bring it in don't make it "cheaper" should be good for the market. My other car on the driveway is a Ford and happy with it. I actually had so far 3 Fords 1998 Ford Escort sold it with 150k on it with only problem I had the wheel bearing(on that thing I even skipped the oil changes a few times LOL). 2005 Ford Focus no issue at all Sold it with 50k, 2007 Ford focus heated seat needed to be fixed(under warranty) only 7k in it.

F150 is still the best selling Truck in NA.
