an update, I wasn't a fan of the feel until I got it aligned properly and messed with my damper setting, thing feels awesome on the BC racing coilovers.

I keep them set fairly high compaired to most ppl on here. Slammed is useless on the streets as far as I'm concerned.

You can see how much lower I can go with them...

Spring rates? 8/6KG
Dampening? 16 way

Rebuild-able? No
Sold individually? Yes (I believe you can order any individual components from stance)
How long have you used your current coilover? About 1 year
How is the vehicle used? Daily Driver
Happy with height options? No, although I think they work great for most people. The fronts have a ton of adjustment. From stock to slammed. The rears have much less adjustment. At maximum height its probably a 2 inch drop.
How do you like the ride? Dislike. I don't think the shocks have enough dampening for the springs.
How much did they set you back? $1200 from Enjuku

Once I get a few other things in order, I think I'll ditch these for a koni or bilstein setup. I don't want to go very low, and all data I can find suggests that konis or bilsteins will have significantly better ride quality. Plus there are a million local places that can rebuild/revalve them.

How long have you used your current coilover? about a month

Happy with height options? Heck ya it can drop my car to the frame
How do you like the ride? They are a little stiff to get used to for the street but work excellent at the track.
How much did they set you back? Did some body work for a friend and he gave them to me. They sell for about $1200

These are great coils, the spring on mine are harder then the normal sets which have 8/6 kg spring rates. This set was a little hard to get used to but once I tuned them they are actually quiet nice, still firm but they dampen very well. The build quality is great, and the parts are very strong in construction and are really easy to install. In my opinion these are a great set up for anyone who wants to have coils with the same performance if not better than in some cases most high end companies like HKS, Stance, ETC... and not pay extreme prices.

And here is what the current stance is, (yes I know it needs more low)

this is about a three inch drop and I still have way more travel left on them to go way lower, actually these can pretty much drop in on the frame. Hope this was helpful.

How long have you used your current coilover? Going on 3 years.
How is the vehicle used? Daily Driven, and Drift.
Happy with height options? No, Height adjustment sucks for larger rims. Removed collers and still not as low as I want. Works good with 15"s-17"s I would imagine.
How do you like the ride? Its okay,on a scale Probably a 6 out of 10. Its not bad, but I'm looking to get different coilovers.
How much did they set you back? $800 New.

I am impressed that for having the coilovers for over 3 years I haven't had any problems with them.

I'm in the market for new adjustable coilovers and was wondering which would you guys prefer, Fortune Auto? or MAX Competition Coilovers? Both are $1000 so really it's down to ride quality if anything. Go head and PM me instead of filling this thread with posts. Thanks :)

Fortune Auto is what I'm using, gets a thumbs up for me.

I've ridden in a car with Teins, those were even more comfy.

Just found this, thought it might interest for of the guys looking at Fortune Auto's

http://www.omegamotive.com/apps/webstor ... ow/1054077

Same price as the other guys but with custom spring rates and valving at no extra charge. This is exactly what I've been looking for. Of course they also have custom valved KW Variant 3's which are sooo enticing...

You guys with Megans... Is it possible to flip the front mounting bracket upside down for more lowering? If so, have you already tried it?

Also, I'm hearing that replacing Megan's springs with Swift Springs greatly improves their ride quality. There's a topic on it over at that other forum...

I'm not sure. The problem mainly is with the rear coilovers. The front's aren't to bad, i'll keep that in mind though, thanks!
Intresting about the springs... hmm.. I'll have to research that mahself.

If you enable your PM's, I can shoot you a link on it.

I was really thinking of getting Megan Streets so that I could run a particular wheel setup, thanks to the Megan extended brackets. But between the cost of extended brackets and new Swift Springs, I figure I should just get the Megan Spec RS's instead and go with another wheel setup I have in mind.

Sounds kinda sketchy... do they mean changing to a softer spring rate that compliments the megans' dampening better, cause that would make sense. But just changing the brand of spring and saying it'll ride better, kinda sounds like someone doesn't know what they're talking about. just sayin'

never tried it but Ive heard of this inverted lower bracket but when i looked last time i was down there - the bottom of the bracket was not just a hole, and didnt look like you could put the shock through it upside down - it had plastic or metal over it (IIRC, please). Ill check again when i go down to put the spacers on the inside of the inner tie-rods. my tie rod ends look like s*** and my bumpsteer is redonkulous.

Your bumpsteer is fine, your roll center is what sucks
simmode1 wrote: You guys with Megans... Is it possible to flip the front mounting bracket upside down for more lowering? If so, have you already tried it?
By the looks of the pictures, the ride height would be lowest with the mount in its normal rightside up position. If you want to get extra low, you can buy their 6" springs. I think they're for an eg civic. Spring rates and dimensions are the same, unlike the swifts.

Bumpsteer and roll center get equally messed up by over lowering.

And you can buy swift springs in any size and rate, check it: http://splparts.com/store/product-info.php?pid127.html

Reviving an aging thread...

Just ordered my Fortunes today from importimageracing, that omegamotive site wouldn't return any emails. Went for the swift springs 9K/7K, with track spec valving. Looking for them in about 5-6 weeks. Stay tuned

Gabe! Great info here! Can you elaborate on it some more? Maybe how you found out about it? Could someone buy EG Civic Swift Springs instead?

These reviews are great! I absolutely HATE the ride quality from daily driving on KTS coils. I like the ride quality much better of my Zenki with K-Sports.

What I'd really like to see is a review on GReddy coils. Cusco seems to get the highest marks for smooth ride quality from this thread so far. I don't track my cars so my next coilovers will be something smoother than what I have now. I can live with my K-Sports but the KTS's have got to go!

So.... Anyone ever have GReddy coils? How was the ride quality?
