the Cavemans drift coupe!

So i finnaly got the coupe over to my friends house yesterday.

I was going to wait a few weeks to start in on it and make a build thread.....
but I couldnt wait and since i decided to send my flywheel off to the machine shop
there wasnt much to do the hatch.
So I got to work piecing together all the parts that where in the car


threw in the carpet and center console from my wrecked car



threw on some door panels (thanks wrecked car)



Put on some trim peices






Pulled out the rusty dash support,sanded it downed and threw a random color on it (was the paint that was sitting around lol)




Put the sunroof back in



First bit of sticker love (one of my friends bought one of these and told me not too there impossible to put on....I had to prove other wise)





then i started to pull all the wiring out of the trunk!



started figuring out where all the wiring goes...my first time doing a chassis harness...it honestly doesnt seem as bad as people have made it sound...all the plugs are now close to there respective places now all i have to do is mount it (the pic with the dash support was taken after i started install of the harness so you can see the inner half ran poorly



Decided to to wrap it up by putting the gas tank cover back on..and threw some wheels on it that didnt have flat tires so we could roll it away from the street and safely tucked away where it won't get towed



Thats all for tonight i wont expect another update for a few weeks

Small update picked up some stuff today.....well one thing and some parts from the wrecked car.

MY first silvia conversion piece!


Straight outa j land,no s*** ebay stickers its the real deal came off a gold and white silvia....even still has that fishy smell...O_o


see the cat was even curious about it...he sniffed around this thing for 30 minutes or so before he decided it wasnt food



The almost uncracked dash that will be rocked out in the coupe



And the center console trim out of my first 240,got tired of it being gunmetal so i repainted it satin nickel.....looks alright has a big smudge in it where i layed the paint on too thick.....sand and recoat again another day.



There will be alot more coming. progress will be kinda slow tho,work is slowing down so ill probably only pull 300$ a week instead of 450-500 here in the next month....s*** sucks!

Import performance shop,they have all sorts of jdm parts, my hatch has the 180sx centerpiece too ( too broke for kouki tails lol)

So got a little work to the coupe done


interior looked like this in the rear,then i got a lucky junkyard run.




So i told myself,i'm not putting any interior in the rear of this thing...
Then i lucked upon all the rear panels in the oem color for the car, brown
All uncracked and aside from some dust in very excellent condition.




Also installed this



Hoping wheels are about to get me everything else i need, gas tank,trans,and interior.
And a friend of mine i let borrow my dualcam radiator should finnaly be getting his so i can have mine back....so ready to really tear intoo this car.
