Would i really need a 60mm wastegate for 500hp? What do i need to do to preorder the mani for a t3 gt35r setup?

Next week will be devoted to building RB2XDET manifolds. If you want your manifold in that batch, you had better get on the horn before Wednesday to reserve the current crackhead pricing! We will take any form of payment except Discover Card.

I prefer the largest wastegate that you can possibly fit because boost-creep SUCKS! I also put forth a ton of effort into tayloring each wastegate entry port to entice aiflow into the wastegate to further help prevent boost creep. I'll have some pictures of this later today; as far as I know, I'm the only one to go this far to prevent boost creep.

I wanted to snap some pictures of a T3 collector that I completed for a customer's manifold that has already been purchased, but I was so excited about these pictures that I kinda forgot.

Also, I found the RB26 gaskets that I had ordered several years ago so I'm getting the head flanges retooled to work on any RB motor.

I think I will fixture the 60mm wastegate location and dumptube. The 44mm wastegate is simply a smaller version and will DEFINATELY fit in the 60mm WG location. The only thing that will differ will be the dumptube which I will NOT fixture at this point. If I get requests from people who are actually ordering, I may build a 44mm setup.

I definitely humped the screen a bit

2 things

run custom lines over to the other side for your powersteering--un less you like fire.

Get a good heat shield for the brake master or you will have a real mess there tooCheck out what I did. the heat shield goes completely around the master and the gold film reflect 78% of the heat back.

Thanks for the tips! I designed the manifold so that you can snake the PS reservoir return line between the 1 and 2 runners. Obviously it will have to be hardline through the runners, and heat-shielded. There should be room to go elsewhere with the lines if desired.

6mm bolt weld-on bosses that will be welded to the downpipe and probably certain runners of the manifold so that heat shielding can bolt to the downpipe and manifold. The effect is decidedly OEM in effect.

I welded this particular setup with a Miller Syncrowave 250. I also have a Lincoln Precision Tig 275 that is regularly used, and a Lincoln Squarewave 175 that is the backup welder incase one of the first two breaks(it happens).

We use Schedule 40, 304 stainless steel for all of the runners in our manifolds.

I have no recollection of that screen name nor do I have any knowledge of any incoming RB26 manifolds?

Though I have only been viewing this forum for around two weeks now, maybe something was overlooked. PM me if this surprises you, we will figure something out, we don't need to air dirty laundry publicly unless its the last resort.

On a more positive note, we've sold a couple of manifolds now, with only two days left to get the deal of the year! So far so good. I have 10 RB head flanges being made as we speak, it would be killer to get all of these out there

I guess my manifold will have to wait on lay-a-way.

Hmm, it was the guy who started the original Lovefab manifold thread: zerothread/226962 .. Daniel Fatell? Anyway, not trying to cause trouble, I just shipped my old manifolds to him which aren't really worth anything. he said he'd give them to you cuz i thought it would help if you were making a 25/26 dual flange with both bolt patterns. no big deal

Oh ok, I vaguely remember Daniel talking about this. I do not have them and I assume Daniel does, so contact Daniel to get them returned if you need them back.

If I extend the sale of another week, will there be anymore takers?

Hey guys,

I will have to completely redesign the manifold to fit the AC compressor. If there is a ton of interest, I may build an AC manifold and the price will reflect this. If-not, than AC won't fit, sorry. It was hard enough to get the damn AC compressor to fit in the engine bay anyway!

$1400.00 Pricing is good through December 1st. Merry Xmas!

cody has a non-a/c compatible rb25 manifold with a t3 flange for sale. it was originally mine, but when i decided i wanted to keep my a/c, he graciously agreed to make me a new manifold, and i would only pay the price difference. someone please buy the manifold so i don't feel so bad anymore!

James' T4 has been done for almost a month. I finally found enough time to get on here and post. Call me up! I need to confirm your shipping address before I ship it out.

The AC manifolds will be started early next week. The winter blast that we are currently going through froze up some water pipes that burst in my home. I haven't been able to get much done trying to fix that mess.

And yes, we have a T3, 60mm gated manifold on the shelf ready to go for those that don't care about AC. I'll honor the $1400.00 sale price. From now on, they are $1800.00 and $2000.00 for AC versions. If we get a batch of 5 guys together that want the same exact manifold, I may do another GB.
