Maybe I'm blind, but where is the wastegate? That is not an internally gated turbo. I see the first finished pic with a "Tial" engraving in it, but can't figure out where it is??

you are correct, it is a TiAL turbine housing. That might of been the backing you saw Darius. As far as I see no wastegate has shown its face in these pics. Wonder how they are going to incorporate one in and where.

The plot thickens

AHHH ok. I thought I was missing something there. The only place I see for a wastegate is popping up between the PS reservoir and MC. That would make for a compact-looking setup.

So is this manifold equal length?

And I think I remember them saying they haven't tested it on an S13 chassis so they do NOT guarantee it will fit.

From what I've been reading, exact equal length (within 1/4" or so) for our level of performance is negligible. With that said, I don't think the Love Fab is exactly equal length.

Hey guys and gals,

I thought I would join in since I'm the builder afterall.

If anyone is concerned with AC, I suggest someone send an AC compressor my way so I can test-fit onto Britt's car while it's still here. Britt might have one anyway, I can't remember. I'll promptly return the compressor when I'm finished, no worries about return shipping.

I should have the wastegate here by the end of the week for completed pictures, but so far I'm extremely excited by what I have built thus far.

I think the feeling will be mutual!

I'll have some pictures of a fresh 6-1 collector as well as a weld-penetration shot over the next couple of days.

Thanks!

-Cody

We have always offered Lifetime Warranties. If it cracks, return it and we will repair/replace.

This is only for domestic(USA/CAN) purchases though, because overseas shipping is rediculous for all parties involved.

However our failure rate is around 1% so I think it's safe to say that the manifold will last as long as the car will.

Britt is sending an AC compressor over. Also, I will probably have his car until Xmas so if anyone needs anything "custom", it can probably be arranged!

Thanks,

-Cody

So since the manifolds will not be completely finished and tested untill later on this year would that mean that the introductory pricing will last until then for we protential customers that wish tested and true products become reality?

Looking foward to the update. Thanks.

By then the pricing will be back to retail unless we decide to promote another sale; which by the way is entirely possible.

It's hard to say when Britt's car will be running. As you can see, its fairly early in project-car stages. I'm working with Britt on a quote to potentially prepare the car for at least a low boost dyno session. Since I don't have any other Nissans except Britt's car at my disposal this is all I have to work with. If you want to wait until the manifold setup is tested, you are welcome to pay $400.00 more for the "Tested" version. The final version will in all probability remain the same due to the sheer amount of time invested into producing the prototype. Time invested over the past six years building knowledge and experience, and time spent on actually producing what you see here.

The pricing for this manifold is good for another week and a half. Is there risk? Only the risk of spending $400.00 more for a product that by all definitions is badass(GT42R or larger fitment capabilities, T3, T4, no chassis mods, great fitment, need I list more?).

Anyone is welcome to call and ask questions.

Thanks Cody

Yea just wanted to have the cleared up since it was alittle blurry.

For those looking to get into the intro pricing, how long after Nov. 1 could they expect to receive a manifold in the mail.

And one more question: I'm not really familar with the TiAL SS turbine housing vband to the manifold connection. Are all the turbine housings connect to an universal Vband regardless of size? GT30, GT35, 42, 45 rear housings all interchange on the same manifold flange? IF anyone could fill me in, that would be great thanks!

We will be 100% caught up on other manifold orders by the end of this week which means we will begin building any RB25 manifold orders starting next week. I was hoping to get 4 or 5 orders going so that we can build them all at once and ship them as they are completed. As stated earlier, these manifolds take on average three days each to build. This could be cut down to two if we build several at once.

This weekend I am building a T3, 44mm wastegate version for primary fixturing and website photos and if timing works out, I will also build a T4 collector ready for the first T4 customer.

The GT30 series Vband housings use a smaller Vband flange than the GT40/42/45 series housings. I should be able to use just about any flange and fit just about ANY turbo on this manifold without any problems. However, downpipes will need to be built while I still have Britt's car, or simply build them yourself.

I'll be at the track tomorrow to stretch the legs of my NSX so I will return Thursday and answer any questions that anyone has.

Thanks!

-Cody

Hey guys,

I finally received the wastegate and have almost finished up the hot parts for Britt's car. The dumptube is complete and will probably be fixtured.

I guess I'm asking for your guys' opinion. Would it be unwise to fixture these manifolds for TiAL 60mm wastegates ONLY? I truly believe that the large wastegate will be needed to run anything much under 10psi, especially with a larger turbo(enter T4, 42R, etc).

Anyway, here are the pictures:

my god thats a sexy manifold as well engine bay.

I like the 60mm for my application but others might and most likely differ depending on their planned setup.

I say keep the 60mm flange and dump tube setup.

Thanks for the pics!
