check out my other thread about the car I DID buy, but heres some pics of the car that I passed up first. I dont think I even have to explain really, the pictures speak for themselves. Keep in mind that the guy told me that the car had "NO RUST" and was in "GREAT SHAPE," with "ONLY A FEW COSMETIC PROBLEMS." Uh huh.

This was apparantly a door at one time.

It's hard to make it out in the pic really, but the rear of the car was actually made up of 3 different color parts. There was the white and grey that you can see, but also some nice accents of red here and there. It's pretty obvious from here that this car is a steaming pile of crap. *Also note that the tires are flat, and yet this guy still drove the car to work.

Few my BUTT!

Looks like my RX7 that I just gave back to the guy I bought it from. I was full of hope, then started adding the cost of parts up.

From the looks of this gap here between the lights and the body, it seems that the creators of this car were fine craftsmen, dedicated to the art of precision and beauty in their work. Everything is held together, as you might imagine, by huge goobs of bondo and caulk. Yes, caulk.

This is a rusted, chipped out spot the size of my foot. Do I really need to say anything more than that? *Note the half-assed spray paint effect of the primer color. Top notch.

okay okay, thats enough. hahah watch it be my luck that the poor slob who owns this car actually posts on NICO...

anyways just some other things the pics couldnt show:

1. the car grinded into 2nd gear, you had to SLAM it in over 2k RPMs. I guess synchros where optional on this model?

2. the back left brake caliper was frozen to the rotor and stayed that way while driving. Ever tried to drive with the brakes on? Yeah.

3. The coolant was a pukeish green color, probably oil mixed in, who knows. There were parts missing everywhere (caps, covers, airbox (??), etc) under the hood, and rust abound- but I have to give it to him- the engine did run "well," idiling at a sporty 3k rpm.

4. This car sucked and I didnt buy it.

AHHAHAHAHAThat just makes my day. OMG that is the biggest piece o sheet that I've seen in a while. Why did you even bother taking it for a test drive?I would consider hauling it away for like $10. You should have punched the ahole for telling you 'no rust' and wasting your time.link to the one you did buy?

OMG.

I'd go take a shower after looking at that thing. That POS isn't worth the gas for the tow truck driver to haul it off.

Hehehe. My car looked so much nicer than that and I got it for 500 bucks. That thing looks like it went through a meat grinder.

I got my s-13 for free. Girl just wanted it out of her yard. The motor was blown the paint faded from the sun and a few parking lot dings no rust. Mine looked 1000 times better than that pos.
