Valve cover looks like my CA20E. Only difference I see so far is the carburator.

WOW, I'll bet that made for a WEAK ride. What's that skyline weight, 3600lbs? That little SOHC CA can't be making more than 100hp.

Good gas mileage I guess...

We didn't get any CA18 (carby) in Australia in any form.

R31 Pintara all got the CA20. First the carby, then the injected engine. Both are universally thought to be boat anchors.

Even the R32 Skyline got a CA18-I.

Similar to the CA20, with rocker based single cam head.

Plenty of room for a VK swap between them there fenders.

That car rocks so damn hard.
