It's done, its in and it works! After countless all-nighhter's, scrapes, scatches, profanity, beers, stimulants and all the other stuff that makes it soooo fun, I now have probably one of the first CA 240 conversions in Arizona! Maybe the first? does anyone know? That would be awesome! Thanks you guys for helping me and Alfred out with answers and advice. (he would ask and then pass on the info):ylsuper

how do you guys know you are the first? just cause you got it and haven't heard of anyone else doesn't make you the first, there are lots of guys that have swapped years ago, before all these internet discussino boards, especially japanese guys that knew about the 180sx before SCC and gran turismo made the world aware of their potential.

I don't really know, just thought it would be cool but I was trying to see if anyone knows of any other AZ CA's - you know , for bragging rights.

I know someone in the process of getting a CA in Tuscon, once he gets his motor I'm probably going to go out there to help him out with the swap, if we could hook up and get some pointers from you on the swap that would be awesome!

BTW, what year/type 240 do you have? the car we'll be swapping it into will be a '90 SOHC auto hatch, no HICAS. We'll need a few parts from a 5-speed 240SX parts car if you know of any around.

Andrave, you're always so positive. I love your mentality. hehehe, I'm JK man. Truthfully, we probabally don't know, but the chances are in my favor at least. Most people haven't even ever heard of my car, and when they see it now their like, "But a 240 has pop-up headlights.." I just shake my head.

Sure Man, I always have alot going on, but let me know, and I can tell you about anything...except the wiring, but there is support in Tucson from http://www.az240sx.org the coolest group of guys I have ever met. Just let me know. -oh, and I have/had an '89 SOHC - non Hicas (but that is an unresolved issue sill) Check with Alfred (alfred183) or post on the az240sx.org forum about the parts also, because soimeone is always cleaning out their garage somewhere.:beer

OneKSs13, whats up! Someone in KS knows what a CA is! Do you have your motor yet? I'm ordering mine this week. I just got all the money together. Hit me up on AIM sometime or email me. I'd love to chat. L8r. (btw that info is in my profile)
