I saw it yesterday and it was great. Denzel was a badass and i don't remember her name but jackie from that 70's show was in the movie too and she gave a good performance as well. What blows my mind is the ending and the fact that this whole movie was all about preserving the bible. So discuss your opinions and thoughts on this movie niconaughts. I myself give it an 8/10.

I hate biblical movies because I don't read or care about the bible, so the story as a result has no "weight" for me even if its well-written.

SO this is what, a chance for the Christians to get back at the Muslims?

Yeah, that's what I've heard. Too bad, as I like post apocalyptic movies (when they don't suck, which is rare). I might have to go see this anyway as it was written by my favorite PC Gamer EIC.

There are a lot of stories based in religions I don't really know/care much about that I enjoy.

The GF and I are trying to pick a movie to go to this evening. We have it narrowed down between The Book of Eli or It's Complicated. This movie is going to be free as she was given free tickets after the sound f***ed up during Avatar. So, for a free movie, which movie do I go see? The woman doesn't care which.

It's complicated was pretty damn funny. Meryl Streep and Alec Baldwin are great.

All I've heard about this was it kinda sucked...like his worst movie to date. But I love him as an actor and the whole apocalyptic nightmare scenario is my thing as well.I'm looking forward to seeing it but the reviews have cooled my heels as of yet.

Thanks. We're just going to go ahead and see Book of Eli here in 15 minutes. I'll be sure to write something again here when I get back!

Really a facepalm? Sorry i didn't know that common name pal... ...Also denzel is definitely not a wuss. And its not like they talk about the bible the entire movie. It was only really talked about at the end for good reason. And it typically is a fall out 3 setting which i thought was awesome. His worst movie to date? i don't think so. To me it was better than "Deja Vu", but not better than "Man On Fire". But i do think it is worth 2 hours and 10 bucks to watch IMO.

Well, I just got back and it was a lot better than I went into it expecting it to be. Action-packed, great story, excellent story development, I give it about an 8.5 or an B+ if you prefer. I would have paid to see it.

Passion of the Christ was fun, but I suspect that wasn't the intention.
