Just some fun pics me and a few freinds took tonight at some meet. Yes I know my fenders have more waves the ocean.

Love the droptop.

Some of those stretched skinny tires remind me of South Phoenix. All they need is some boat paint and a picture of the Madonna on the back window. :)

Which one of those are yours? I really like the hatch. What's up with the super stretched tires though?

I believe his car is the one with Intercooler with the letter ARC on them.

Great looking cars. What a gathering of cars, though. Too bad you don't have more pictures that show the cars from the side.

By the way, what wheels are those on the cars? Could you share?

NiteKids - Can you get some more pics and info on the droptop?

I have a 'vert now, and I'm trying to talk NICOmom into letting me have a Silvia conversion. She's already down with the body kit. :)

Streching tires is a drifting thing. It's supposed to make the sidewall movement less when you initiate and come out of a drift. Check it out on the drift forum, they'll explain it all.

appearance is important, but it was kinda blown up by the professional drifters because the sidewall is much more stiff and responsive. also, it cuts down on theose expensive *** wide tires.

what is the ride quality like with that setup? do you ever ding/dent your rims/wheels? i would be very paranoid of that.TY

just don't parallel park, ever with hipari tire. ride quality isn't that much different. I went from bulging 205/55/16 on a 16x6.5 to a stretched 225/45/17 on a 17x9 and it's that much different, though I did turn my dampening up to combat the bounciness caused by increased leverage due to size and offset.
