Why the screw would you make this thread. you pretty much just said, Hi im 18 years old and i drive an onevia. its pretty much a 240sx but I heard someone once call it an onevia, here let me show you pictures of it and of other 240sx's as examples.....all the other kids in highschooll...wow thats amazing how did you get that over here from japan...you...ahh its science really

this **** reminds me of those pictures you looked at in coloring books where they ask you to find whats different from the others...ohohoh i got it, the steering wheels on the wrong side....dang your good fanboy, you almost got me.

Well just to throw my two cents in, because i can ^^.

I for one am a FIRM believer in the theory of "calling it what you want."

No one is forcing anyone to call any one thing, anything.

Because in the end does it REALLY matter to YOU what someone else prefers to call something?

Does it REALLY matter what side the steering wheel is on?As long as the person is comfortable with driving it?

I mean seriously... Now a days we have people born one gender and with enough money they have all of that changed. The ones with the most money some would not even be able to tell... but to see people get so worked up over what someone ELSE wants to call their car by specific type, group, even generation is kinda weak (remember this is my person opinion so no one should be getting offended)

The MAIN difference on most S chassis cars when referring to JDM and USDM is the Engine (and all things associated) and the Side the steering wheel is on. Of course VARIOUS cosmetic differences but that being only stated to prevent "that one guy" from throwing out "that one card".

I think something a large number of people forget is that MOST of the S-chassis plants were in Japan (unless the 11th Digit in your VIN is a "C" or "L" your car WAS made in japan) so everyone's car can be a little bit "JDM TYTE" weather it be made for USDM or JDM if that is the type of thing that matters to you.

I could call my car a colossal hunk of blithe and who is going to tell me otherwise? I could say it is a Dinosaur and anyone who tells me different is wrong! I call my daily driver lots of things and NO ONE AND NOTHING WILL EVER TELL ME DIFFERENT.

So why in the heck should it matter when someone wants to call that of an s-chassis something else. None of these conversions were ever OFFICIAL and if they were it sure as hell was not permanent ( speaking only of the Nissan Sil-eighty). Everything else was appellations. PRETTY MUCH NICKNAMES someone randomly spit out and it stuck to be used by everyone who CHOOSE to do so. Choose meaning everyone had a choice, that choice being something made by ONE individual that can not be changed or altered by anyone else unless convinced or manipulated to do so.

Also stated very well, above by white comet it is much more convenient to say "ONEVIA" as apposed to saying "s13 coupe with flip up headlights".

"Live And Let Live"

One Love,

Ghasty

My apologies to anyone this may have offended.

BTW that yellow car a few posts up is VERY sweet and super low. I would lick it, haha

Ghast, I completely agree I also don't see why people always complain and complain and complain about names people call THEIR own cars...

This post is about posting the best looking Onevia' s not about who can complain the most...

(P.S I know by writing this post I'm complaining about people complaining so I'm going to stop complaining)

My sincerest apologies.

I do apologize for the time of which i may or may not have wasted of yours as well.

I do get carried away at times.

I can not bring myself to press post sometimes until i have felt as if i have made my point or fully voiced my opinion. ^^

I can see where as on a constant it can be annoying. Sorriez

Well in this case....I have a bentley hatch and a bentley coupe. they are really rare to have my body style. the KIDS who sold them to me went as far as saying the rarity to never even being made before. boy I am never going to sell these jems....that sex change ****, yeah they paid for it and they look like whatever they paid for, but inside, deep inside they are still the same pen15 or no pen15

IMO

i think its stupid to make up names for cars..

ie.. sileighty, onevia, etc..

why not just call the cars by the chassis code.. you know S13, S14, S15, R32.. etc..

also what do you call a silvia with a skyline front end??

a skyvia.. a silline? just doesnt make sense to me...

i like **** plain and simply.

but the cars do look good.
