Just for your amusement,

I installed side moldings for fear of damage to by 2011 G37x Coupe and of course as bad luck would have it and despite parking a mile away from other cars someone managed to scrape my rear bumper. Pics below. Maybe if I could wrap the car in bubble wrap I could keep it undamaged!!!!

Love the car. 1st old change was today w/ Mobil 1

hard to tell how bad the damage is, but that may compound out. I would get a good compound and try to work it out.

yes, bubble wrap, please.

I agree that it should rub out. Worst case is a small paint job for ~$100.
