I was drivin home tonight after a mediocre evening... This white fox body mustang comes rollin' up. I decided i'de revv on him a little so they guy slows down and says "Go when you're ready" I said "allllll right" in that maybe what you just said was a mistake tone... i punch it and walk away pretty good... then i slow down and he catches up and we slow way down again to the bottom of second gear... this time his pasanger yells "GO!" I pulled really good again... and again when he caught up he motioned for me to slow down... so i slow down and wait for him to go... He punches it then i do... but the top of second i'm a car up... i miss third... then miss again... and finally just relax for a split second and put in in third right as he's next to me... i hear him hit the limiter for a second and shift... we're both in third..... and i wal away again..... So much fun...

Nothing like a foxbody kill

all fun and games until you run into some hardcore ford guys, I can't say much though, Mustangs are usually easy prey because a lot of retards own them and think they're hot **** without bothering to mod them...

I can *decently* hang with a friend of mines fox body with just my ka, haha. I know this just because we have played around a few times while driving, not by actually racing him. I've never actually raced a fox. I would lose I'm sure, whether the fox is modded or not. I just have a basically stock ka :/ Bah, I need boost...

There's a loud-arse GT (approx 88-91) that lives the next street over that has danced with Quella three times (always on the onramp to I-17).

He always gets a nice jump, then gets reeled in around 50mph and passed at 80. He asked a mutual friend "what kind of retard modifies a Q45?"

I love it when people ask stupid questions. :)

The only fox body I lost to was a fully stripped, drag prepped 5.0 what was running on slicks.

Not really a loss. More of a fun run. Otherwise I :boink mustangs all the time. Even with my no tires.

One of the people from my school has a Mustang. Hes done some stuff to it, but everything he did was stupid stuff. First time I saw his car I laughed my *** off cause he riced the hell outa that car. HIs car has some potential, but he simply cannot drive it. Kinda sad.

Cause they have a bad rep for being driven by morons and/or slobs with mullets. Same w/ Camaro's. I'm talkin about mostly older 'stangs and camaro's, like the previously mentioned foxbody's, etc.

I've run a 99LS1 camaro I was running 12 pounds and it was very even. I'm running 14 now. This mustang was definately not stock. I'de guess he's probilby running 13.5 to 14.0.

bah, 13.5, he's no real Ford Guy then!:D

real Ford guys are freakin' crazy...

I wish I had money to make a turbo kit for my car...(ok not really, it's a very comfy car for a daily driver, well as soon as I redo damn near everything on it, its in really sad shape...)

i see them a lot. i fear the ones driven by the seemingly nice looking guys that drive stock looking Foxbodies. i was driving one night and pulled up next to one and starting looking it over. i didnt want to race, just noticed the guy driving was an older guy and the car looked stock except for the hood. thats when i noticed the boost gauge on the a-pillar. i rolled down my window and could hear the whirl coming from the idling SC and kinda laughed to myself hoping some ricer would try to run this guy. i'll ahve to get a pic of the orange supposed 5.0 foxbody out here in town. the thing is bright-*** orange, stickers all over it, including a superstreet logo across the windshield, and smaller ones on the fnders, and a big TURBO sticker on the fender. that and the chrome fender trim pieces. its a mean looking car and i wouldnt dare mess with it :rolleyes

I drive aroudn here in DSM, IA and there is a yellow mustang that prowls near the airport. Anyways I used to work at the airport and he would roll by once and a while during the summer. All I have to say was his car was so heavily modified I heard it over airplanes when he came down the street. I drove next to it one time he had every kind of gauge available hooked into that *****. I was crying when I realized he was like in his 50's he is in that midlife crisis but damn he sure knows what to do during one.

bad thing is that's probably his daily driver!

chances are that's a real Ford Guy, not a lame imposter like myself, other wise I wouldn't be typing this, I'd be seeing how much boost a Flathead V8 could take...

my favorite ones are the guys who slap on SVT and Cobra bumpers on their cars and put the rims on there too.

They're the Type R equivalence of the Civic people.

I especially love the SVT Cobra Saleens that run on 225 or 215's. Yeah, a real monster... oh well it's not as bad as the "SS Z28" guys I see running around.

if it's a newer Camaro, that's actually an SLP engineering car, it's the Camaro equivalent of a Firehawk, don't mess with one unless you're boosting pretty high

yeah, those SLP cars are pretty damn fast. i messed around with an SLP GTP Grandprix and he had no problem walking me. granted i was rolling in a semi stock 240, but it seemed like he was doing much at all.
