4 hours well spent.

The products I used:

Passenger side 1/4 before:

Passenger side 1/4 after:

One beautiful G!:

That swirl remover worked great. That wax was terribly hard to remove. I washed the car, clay barred, washed that goop off, did swirl remover, waxed, fixed me some lunch , took off the wax, than ran my clean damp absorber over the car to removed any powder residue.

Car looks great. It is 71 and sunny. I'm outta here. Sunroof open, music box blaring, turning BMW owners green with envy.

The clay bar I used was Clay Magic. The swirl remover is made by Nu Finish and it is called Scratch Doctor.Wax is Meguiar's NXT Tech Wax 2.0 in paste form.

All in all....I spent about $45 on product, but I am amazingly pleased with the results. I really didn't think all those swirls would come out that easy.

(thx for the nice comments fellas)

We had the wettest October since they have been keeping records. September was close to being the wettest. That is how my car got in such awful condition.

It is beautiful....supposed to be all through the weekend too. Only bad thing is that our foliage wasn't very pretty this year because the rain knocked all the leaves off before they got pretty.

Oh gosh....let me see. I only have about 5,000 pictures of it.

Here is when I had it and my WS6.

I took this one this spring. I thought it looked pretty cool. I need to take one of the G like this:

This is the color it really is. It looks blue in some pics and green in others. It is teal though. I think the technical name is Medium Teal Metallic.

For some reason, I have alway prefered a paste wax. Don't really know why. I guess I feel like since it is thicker, it cleans deeper and would leave a thicker coating.

Black is a hard color to keep clean and looking good, but nothing looks better then a nice deep clean black car though.

Finals are more important.

I'm thinking about using that pic of my car to put on my Capital One credit card. Do you think that would be cool, or stuck up snobbyish?

This is my favorite pic of him, but it would be sideways on the card.

Well...I have never advertised it except for this board and my f-body club board.

I'm weird, SVT. You seem a lot like me so I'm sure you understand. I LOVE THAT CAR. My daughter and I have had more fun in that car. We have been in car shows and p0ker runs and parades and just everything imaginable. He has been in Super Chevy magazine and in the newspaper. He is loved by a lot of folks. (my car club is going to kill me if I sell it).

At this point, if a really nice person came to me and seemed like a person that would take care of it and offer me first right of refusal if they ever sold it, I would sell it. I don't want to advertise it and have every punk want to come test drive and and run the Hell out of it. I would also die if I saw it going down the streets of Memphis with 24" spinners and bling on it.

It is quite a predicament. I would part with him if he went to a good home, other than that, I would just rather it stay in my garage. I have a 3 car garage so I'm not hurting for space. I have a special insurance policy on it that I drive it less than 500 miles a year so it really isn't that expensive to insure. So basically I have the cost of tags and insurance, other than that it doesn't cost me anything. I take it every spring and get the radiator flushed and oil changed.

Sorry to run on, but Rambo is one of my favorite subjects.

If you get a spare second, look at this old website my son made me about 10 years ago. You might not like what is at the very bottom.
