the beast got power today. hooked up a *working* alternator and gave it power. it was a nice accomplishment. the old alternator would blow a 100 amp fuse everytime the battery was hooked up. blew like 3 100 amp fuses, took the alty off, had it tested, blew the fuse on the test machine at advanced auto parts (LOL), then nichols ordered a used working one and put it on today. hooked the battery up, and tah-dah, power :D

I'm really liking your car :cool:REALLY liking it.

Are those Mustang wheels by any chance? I'm not insulting them, I like them. . just trying to figure out where I've seen 'em. . I love how it looks on there.

its not blocked at the top its only tall enough to go to the bottom of the bumber support. the intercooler is made for the front opening of th s14. look at sygurwulfs first pic of nichols car you can see the intercooler there

he has 235/40 17's on the front and 245/40 17's on the rear but i believe the 245 is the widest you can go on the rims cause they are a 17x8 same size as the wheels on my car which are the 99-2000 gt wheels and I have 245/45/17's all the way around

they are the HKS hyperdamper II's or something like that, full coilover set with sway bars, strut bars, basically all the goodies a carnut could desire.

tex240, it isn't as low as you think. it is about as low, maybe a little bit lower, than the sportlines would make it. its going to get lowered about another 1/2 inch after she's running.

That's not bad!! Excellent way to get some decently wide 17s for not a lotta $$$. . .I could swallow my pride and sport Cobra rims, they look rather nice actually
