Not sure the name of the shop where Gore took it too, but his mechanic called me from Florida to Ottawa to tell me that he couldn't figure out the ca18det harness wiring to have it matched the body harness. He also lost the ca18det valve cover, coil pack harness, ps inlet pipe, ka harness, and some how Gore couldn't get his engine and transmission back, and few other parts.

I think I was more upset than Mark was, as he was paying good $$ for this mechanic to do the conversion. But I think it worked out for the best, as it was a learning experience for Mark, where he learned tons about his ca18det engine.Mark went from a person that didn't know what wiring was to wiring his engine and get it started.thumbs up Mark,

He might be able to shed more light on this subject.

And not once did I get a thanks for my time and getting my hands dirty.......Oh well, lesson learned and it won't happen again. Congrats on gettng your car to run and drive safely!

To be honest boostboy you didn't do much besides confirm the plugs that I had plugged in the previous day. I was more than willing to pay you for your time and effort, but when I was left high and dry the next day after you told me your were going to show up, even after I called you, and never gave me a call to tell me you weren't showing. I kind of gave up on relying on others. I was burned a few times by people not showing and doing what they said they were going to do. So I decided to rely on myself and my buddy pulsar gtr, who helped me at every corner. Lets not forget the fact that I had thanked you many times in person, if that wasn't enough next time I'll get it in writing.

Like I said Mark, Glad to hear you finally got your car running after so many months of sitting at a shop, very incomplete, waiting for this and looking for that. I'll say this and then I'll be done with it. When you ask someone such as myself to come to your house and help you with a task such as wiring and because my time is extremely valuable, it would be wise to have everything you need to complete the task at hand; in your case, you did not. So basically what you did was waste my time with an incomplete set-up. I did go out my way to get the components needed to help you complete this, but since I didn't hear from you anymore, I dust my shoulders off with it. No hard feelings, life goes........... Hope to see you and your car around;) .
