You're actually dead on the money: I had broken up with her earlier that week, and for reasons of guilt went back. She sure could be an @sscrack (I don't believe in yelling and tissyfighting and all that, so I don't respond well to it), but it sucked seeing her cry 'n all that. So I went back. But I paid for that car, 300 more than needed even (might have been 200 more, but w/e). In the end, I left Sarah for reasons any guy here would have. Not for the 'upgrade', but the timing of meeting her was nice as hell too, no lie there.

Jessica's going to be ok, she's almost out of remission, and thank God for that. I met her smoking a ciggarette outside in downtown Dallas, and was quite rude to her the first time I met her. I don't know anything about kids, and didn't know how to respond to one telling me not to smoke.

Saw her a few more times and one time she didn't have any hair. I asked her why and have known her ever since, taking her to chuck-e-cheese and getting to know her parents pretty well. Long story heh.

That's good about your friend, one of my good friends is in remission right now. His brother died from cancer a few years ago so we are all really glad that he is pulling through it...My mom also had cancer but that has been in remission for 2 years now.

Honestly at the time all I knew was that him having cancer sucked and so did the drugs they gave him. While I was in Middle School I would get teased by kids calling me "The Lab Rats Son" and it made me hate what he did. It wasn't until later on that I really understood what my Dad did and why he did it. He was a Marine and his motto was "Always leave it better then you found it" So when I got my 240 I actually did name it after him and it is my on going project/memorial.

Gun shot retaliation? Personally I like knife throwing and weaponless fighting better...the body is the best weapon

That's f**ked up. I don't even know what to say to that one.

I generally just avoid confrontation of course; I've got too much good goin' for me... but when the s*** does kick off, I made Rae get her CHL and I got mine a week later. That's something we always worked on, backing ourselves out of that whole Rottweiler kill 'em mode, and learning how to just walk away.

One of the hardest things ever, just taking a jab to pride and ignoring it. But when you have a gun, you've got a serious responsibility. She's got a Kahr K9, and I use an XD-9 (we're both fans of 9mm due to both cost and ammunition versatility), and we'll damn near duck into the sewers before talkin' poo or escallating anything. Confrontation is something we'll aviod like ebola, but if it hits; we aren't the right folks to mug or f**k with like the Wu-Tang. LOL

So yeah, after a year now of carrying, I'm even more cautious than I ever was about barking up the wrong tree. I mean, we're pretty unassuming looking people. When I get home, I throw on wtfe I can find that doesn't smell like asscrack. She just wears jeans n' a shirt. We look typical as f**k. And if we do, and we carry; then you never know who else would.
