I really hate this car. Nissan made a real duty box when they thought up this one. The only thing i like about the car is the panoramic side view of it. I mean it is a hot lookin car from the side especially with the SE-R spoiler. But other than that they can fkin have it back.

1. As discussed in the other post, the paint it utter garbage. It scratches like my hand on my balls. It has blotchy spots all in it, and yes i know how to wash, wax and polish cars. I did detailed my friends scion tc and was shocked how much better the paint quality was.

2. Got corrosion? My engine looks like its 20 years old, my old ford's v6 i had before this car wasn't this bad. The engine is all pitted and i have rust in many places under the car aswell.

3. They literally had a mexican wire this car. I mean absolutely pathetic. I have an airbag light on, which nissan tells me they cannot fix for me under warranty now i am fighting with corporate. Any time it gets cold out the TPMS light goes on. The stock stereo is horrific and the service engine soon light likes to pop in and say hello at least once a month. But my newest thing is my car locks me out of it. It does not let me use my remote to access the car nor can i use my buttons on my door to enter my car. I literally have to put my key in the door and open it in which the car wakes up and then my remote works? Weird..... and no it is not my battery in my remote. I used 2 different remotes and changed batteries.

4. CVT is terrible. Thats all i have to say here.

5. If you love body roll buy this car.

6. Thanks for the bridgestone turenzas! I think if i s*** in my hand and put it on my rim it would turn out to be a better tire then these things. Like seriously nissan skimp alittle more on this one.

7. My speedometer is off. Very nice. My speedo will tell me i am doing 80 when i am doing 73mph. Just rackin those extra miles for fun ya know.

This car is garbage and because of it i will never buy another nissan again. Sorry guys. PEACE!

i have had the problem with the tpms when it gets cold out here. i was told that when it drops 10 degrees you loose tire presssure and the tpms has a better chance of turning on. as for the other problems i have not seen any of them pop up in my car.

Ride one on out then. Looks like someone did not do enough research, bought a car only in production a little over a year and expected no issues? Did you even test drive it to see if you would like the way it handled and if the CVT was something you could live with? Agreed that tire wear on the Bridgstone is rapid but grip and wet traction are acceptable. Tread wear of 320 should give a clue to how long they last.

You got a 2.0S when you wanted a Spec V, why? It's a little family car, not a sports car.

PS. The car might be locking you out because it don't like the way you treat it.

+1 to everything this guy just saidI don't see reason for half of your argument. Why would you put money in to something that you hate so much? Go trade it in for a new car dude..

throw some nitrogen in the tires and that will solve that part or just go buy a Honda .. because it seems to me that would suit you better !! i havent had many problems at all with my sentra and i have more miles then prolly everyone with an 07 and i have sprayed nitrous threw the motor since the car had 2,300 miles on it .. so i am sorry to sound like a d!ck but i donno how else to put that ..

DUDE, WHATS UP WITH THAT COMMENT ON MEXICANS WIRING UP THE CAR?!, THAT s***'S WRONG, KEEP THAT s*** TO YOUR SELF MAN. SEEMS LIKE YOUR CAR HAS A PROBLEM WITH YOU, MAYBE YOU SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN A SPEC-V OR A MANUAL IF YOU COULDN'T HANDLE A CVT.

I kinda have to agree that your expectations are a bit high, at least in terms of body roll/performance. You definitely shouldn't have had as many issues with throwing codes and such. Do you check your tire pressures when it gets cold? Maybe add a lb in winter to compensate or something.

Also, a Mexican DID wire your car, along with all other Sentras. Obviously the ethnicity/nationality of the person doing the work doesn't make it poor quality. Try to keep your frustrated comments free of inflammatory statements. Just say the wiring must have been crap and move on.

Even in a somewhat early production car, there's no excuse for crap wiring. Good luck fighting Nissan about it, but I wouldn't hold it against the brand. It sounds like you just got a poor one. Don't you have some aftermarket audio and stuff? Could be that the extra load made the system a bit more fragile.

Hey man I have 53k on my Spec-v NOt one single problem and Nissan has taken care of everything and anything that has happend (which was only the brake master cylinder recall!!)

as for the racial thing.. leave it to yourself. Yes they did wire it... but guess where the actual harness was made???? JAPAN!!!! HItachi made it!!!! whitch is here in the states and in Japan.

Just like there trucks and toyota trucks are made here in America (texas in fact)!!!

TPMS happens on any car when the tires are cold and it is cold outside... FIX... add 2 psi into the tires (or whatever you need). also if you have aftermarket wheels and tires the systems between the install and the factory can be differant..

stop ranting and raving and get your stuff fixed.

another +1 dude. the only problem i've had is the TPMS, which i can live with. should've done your research/test driven the car....first gen of that chassis (B16) yeah its gonna have probs, just like the 1st gen altima coupes. i still love my sentra even though its not the best...i honestly hated it when i got it from the dealer, i wanted a coupe but couldnt afford it. all it needed was a little love, modding and maybe some good maintenence...like he said maybe u just got a bad egg.

sorry for all your problems...

Actually now that i've seen your post; if you're looking to part out your wheels when you get rid of your B16, how much would you part with them for? I'm looking to replace a set of 15 inch racing wheels and I like the red pinstripe around yours.

That's on a 2.0 right? So those rims won't fit a spec v..? You wanna sell your eyelids, hids, (cai if you have?)? I can take care of shipping no problem.

LivinLoud98, I'm gunna toss you a bone and side with you on on some of your issues, even though I don't own a B16 or Sentra (I got a Rogue). The corrosion and wiring issues are unacceptable, and from the sounds of the other posts you probably got a lemon. Regarding the CVT, I don't really care for mine either, I like the fuel efficiency it provides but really can't say I like anything else about it, but it's liveable as long as it doesn't die on me after warranty is up.

The other reason I'm siding with you on this is because your post made me laugh, funny as hell actually, so thanks for that.

But as for the comment about Mexicans, not cool.

Are you far out on Long Island (like stony brook)? I have some family that lives up there (in Huntington and queens) and maybe I may be able to come by and snag em if you're gonna ditch the B16 for a Scion.

I'm curious as to what brand that wheel is and how much they weigh?

well the HID's are kinda worthless, the balasts look like shyt, the way i had to wire it was not plug nd play, and one of the lights i had to silicone because i was getting moisture in on of my laps so they're kinda garbage.

the only other thing i can think of would be the Fujita F5 CAI, as for this, i havent taken it off yet because im not turning in my car till after winter. and really i like my intake, it makes the litle 2.0 scream when you get high up on the rpm band. when i take that off ill post it on the classifieds here. if i think of anything else let you all know.
