OK SO THIS TOTALLY HAPPENED LAST FRIDAY...

so one of the nurses i worked with was ranting in the nurses station about the plethora of pan handlers here in New York. Literally its rare for you to not encounter one on your trip home on the subway. they board the train and beg as you travel between stations. sometimes they bring their kids and cry poverty while wearing the latst fashions. anyway, this nurse was obviously from the south bronx as the picture greg posted indicates. what was she saying...?

...THAT THOSE bishez NEED TO BE DOIN WHAT IT TAKES FOR THEY KIDS. WHEN SHE WAS A KID, THEY MADE GRILLED CHEESE SANDWICHES WITH THAT GUBMENT CHEESE AND A RADIATOR. THEYD ALSO MAKE GRILLED BALONEY SANDWICHES BY PUTTING THAT MYSTERY MEAT ON A LIGHT BULB TO HEAT IT UP. HER BALONEY HAD 57 NAMES BUT WAS DAMN GOOD. AND TAHT CHEESE WOULD KEEP YOU FROM GOING TO THE BATHROOM FOR A COUPLE DAYS, BUT IT YOU NEVER GOT HUNGRY. ETC.

i was literally on the floor laughing. maybe im a sucker for large Mo'nique type women? she reminded me of this lady...

what exactly is your function there? i find it interesting that you in law school work for a defense contractor? did you do engineering before?

Still have the same job. I'm a designer for a Navy Contractor; I currently work on the conceptual side of things, so I get to do a lot more fun things.

That said, it's no fun at all. I can't wait to finish up school and quit.
