NICO Coupers,

We are currently working on moving things around with the Altima business and eliminating the following subforums:

Altima Drivetrain
Altima Interior/Exterior
Altima Audio/Video
Altima Suspension

We are reorganizing the forums into bodystyle and model year, and any discussion specifically regarding coupes will stay in this forum. Look to the Altima General Discussions for more information.

Any questions, comments, or expletives are welcome here. We should be wrapping a lot of this up this week.

Stay tuned!
-Z

Wow, depressing news! I love the other sub forums and the new tittle (2008-2013) is depressing as well.

We're trying to keep things as close to what you guys are used to as we can... Maintaining multiple subforums creates a TON more work for our staff, and they're stretched to the limit as it is.

Bear with us, and keep an eye out - we've got some cool new stuff on the way that you guys are gonna love. :)

I know, but trust me, the change will be good!

Right now, a lot of guys from the sedan world struggle with the current segmentation of forums. There were sections of the Altima forums that hadn't been posted in for over four months! When we have new guys come through with questions and they don't have anyone reply for four days that's usually a bad thing. So we're trying to make it easier for everyone to generate discussion and get questions answered and problems solved.

Right now, the Altima forums are amongst the busiest we have, so being cleaned up and organized is very important.

1st: Hi guys!
2nd: I used to browse the subforums when I was REALLY bored trying to find something interesting to help with or just read up on. There were some VERY substance filled posts there. Did they get junked (I haven't looked yet).
3rd: I'm REALLY bored right now, so I will go check.

:wavey: Nope, we don't like flat out deleting things, even if it's old it may still be useful. Posts pertaining to just the Coupe or Hybrid have been moved their sub-forums. If a post references a particular model year, it will generally wind up under there. Anything else gets moved to Altima General Chat, with a few items moved to the NICO General Chat.

Even better: Click that "View unanswered posts" link to the right... that's something I'd hope we could get ALL of our veteran NICOnauts to do, at least every couple days. It's always an awesome feeling when you're a n00b on a forum and someone replies to your first post right away. :)
