good, maybe they can make the car look nice. Nissan styling on the '07 sentra and versa is pretty drab.

i've been wanting to actually get this car. it's kind of small though. hell, it'll save money ($12000 base price) with gas and maintenance.i noticed alot of hate on honda here... is it gas? does everybody have gas? just let it out, thooot. it's okay, just squeeze-it-out.

Whatever it is, it's not gonna be the Versa, hahahaha.

I'll see if I can get the article, but they compared the Honda Fit vs Versa & some other cars. Basically beats the versa in every single category, from economy to performance. Look wise, more ppl also seem to prefer the Fit (from my own personal observation).

I like the Versa, but iono bout shutting Honda up .

I don't know how on earth anyone could prefer that bugeyed nastiness to the Versa. The fit looks like the abandoned lovechild of a minivan and a prius. And Honda's family-resemblance bugeye'd headlights aren't helping.

I'd rather have the Versa and have usable torque for a commuter than have a minivan body on a gokart motor.

Of course...they're both way too small for me.

Really funny, cuz on the honda boards, they don't understand how anyone could like the ugly murano looking squashed front end of the versa, and wanna-be civic hatch rear... not that I was doing anything over in the Honda boards.

I happen to like both, even tho they are "small."

Did you know the Honda Fit w/ the seats folded down has more cubic feet of storage than a Ford Explorer (about 2 more feet)?

In slalom tests, it also basically destroyed all the competition models.

"Usable torque" is so relative. I haven't test driven either, but my friend has test driven the Fit, and it is plenty responsive off the line because of its light weight. The Versa may have a 20 ft/lb of torque advantage over the Fit, but doesn't mean it will destroy the fit in say a racing situation (not that you would race these cars, although you can, haha) - the Fit has a slightly faster quarter mile time too I believe.

I only know some stuff about the Fit because one of my buddies has been waiting for this car for a year - so I get emailed every time an article comes out about it.

I tested both of these cars out before I purchased the Versa. The honda just seemed very "mickey mouse"... The versa just seems like a classier car to me. The honda seemed too "17 year old punk ***" . The versa just seems roomier. I was far more impressed with the interior of the versa as well. One thing about the Fit, you cannot adjust the height of the driver seat which would suck for me.You just get soo much more for your money with the Versa. For me it was an easy choice.

I agree. I test drove both the Fit and the Versa and I'm 28.

Versa is a lot more practical for me as a commuter car. My other car will be delegated to clubbing and weekends

Cheers,Kermee

I think ultimately those who choose versa over fit are people that have a more mature taste and lifestyle, which includes paying for the car and working a full time job or being a college student. Im personally a 19 year old college student and for me, picking the versa was an easy choice over the fit. Personally i dont give a rats *** if people dont like the look of my car, id ont buy cars to show off, especially when im taking government loans and eating kraft dinner 5 nights a week. If your the type of kid whos parents pay for your car, go with the Fit, youll have fun, but if your the person who has to work hard to earn it, versa will give you more bang for the buck. If someone thinks your car is ugly, that person isnt worth hanging out with to be honest. At the end of the day, my versa is able to comfortably transport my friends from residence to downtown clubs whereas the fit driver is doing zig zags on some road alone with friends who are forced to take a cab cause they couldnt fit in his car. Practicality/functionality always always my friends over looks.

Versa=practical car, for practical peoplefit= toy car/go kart for kids who use to much hair gel
