So,I don't post a lot around here, but I thought you all would like to know, if you are ever thinking about autocrossing your AC's, go for it. I did this weekend out at Firebird International Raceway with a Corvette club and a bunch of friends. Let's just say, the ol AC held its own. Within 2 seconds of those Vette monsters on the track. Not bad for anywhere from 150-250hp less and FWD! It was A TON OF FUN!

If anyone is interested in viewing pics or photos, let me know. Otherwise, I am a member of the NICO page on FACEBOOK and if youa re too, you can view them all in my FB profile.

I was very happy with the way my coupe performed and handled. I drove the pee out of my baby and it was impressive the response I got. I recommend turning off the VDC! A kick in the pants more fun than driving with it on.

Later everyone,

Tanya

Add the sway bar and strut tower brace for a vastly different handling situation. It will make your recent trip to the track seem like it was in a corolla!

Here are a couple videos I uploaded to Streetfire this morning for you to view. It was a lot of fun.

I have heard the sway bars dont really do a whole lot for these cars and arent worth the upgrade. But if you think they are, I may be looking into it ASAP! I know on my C5, they made a huge difference because they were 20 - 40% larger, but it was my understanding the Altima Coupe ones are only like 10-15%. Am I misinformed? Thanks all!

looks like fun! good to hear the 3.5 held it's own.as far as the sway bars, i've heard the opposite of you, and that they're actually a nice upgrade. word of mouth though...
