Since no mention of the Sportmax 002s, here some for reference. 16x8 0 offset in gunmetal, on my DD vert, pulled rear fenders, -2 camber front, -1.5 rear, 225/50/16 tires. These won't clear Z brakes (without 10-15mm spacer), but hey, they're cheap.

Its a daily, no need for wearing out tires or scraping everything, have other S13 for that.

People just don't get the idea of a daily anymore. These tires were cheap and have a bigger patch for contact. Cheap is all this Vert is about.

dude, 215's are cheaps. you could have SAVED a few bucks by going with a smaller size of tire

and your in the wrong hobby if you are saying you want to be cheap. I pay my bills, i go out and i still have $800 a month to blow on my car.

These were cheaper than almost all 215s I found and wanted to stay close to overall original diameter for speedometer. And again 225 = more contact patch. Which to improve handling was the point of these upgrades.

I pick and choose where to spend my money on this hobby, I think after 10 years and tens of thousands of bucks I'm probably getting the hang of it.

well if you did have good experience you would realize that 1- why the hell did you roll your rear quarter if your not dropping it more...oh wait handling, guess camber is out of the question. At least lower the car down

Btw, those are ze512's and i know for a fact that who ever you talked to bull**** you and just wanted to get them off the selfs to make space for something else

there is no difference in the cost. trust me i know the mark up and the prices, a perk of working at a tire shop

The fenders were rubbing the tires, even at -2.5 in the rear, didn't want more camber due to cost of wearing out tires.

Mostly tires would have been much more expensive at 225/45 which would be different kinds of tires, so I went with a 50 series for cost factor and 225 for patch, also don't like the stretched look that is the new 'hotness'.

I'm not arguing this $hit anymore on this thread, its fvuckin rediclous.

its just a simple conversation. But i am guessing your still running stock suspension if your rubbing.

Ibitch at my work when people put 225's on thin wheels, so its really no different, i just think that it doesn't look right. when you have a 0 offset wheel on a 8 inche wide rim your going to be sticking out. which is why people stretch tires and roll their fenders.

I don't mean to offend you but if your going for wheels that need a bit of fitment, make them fit right

what would be an easy to order, no fitment issues, on stock fenders, 4 lug, wheel size/backspace/tires size? i'd like to get away with 18's but i can go for 17's

heres the deal, use the wheel calculator and 9.5 +28 in the rear is flush and 8.5 +25 in the front is flush. use those figures to calculate how gay the wheels your looking at are

Not stock, stock would have enough clearance. Tanabe springs and tokico shocks, which on the heavier vert appears to lower around 2" in the rear and 1.5" in front (before pull the rear fenders were about 1" from tires without me in it). Eventually when there's enough money I'll probably put coilovers on it and pull the fronts, but for now there is no need. And function over form anyday for me, so it doesn't bother me that the front's stick out a little.

dunno if i'm grasping what your saying.... the +20 offset a good setup? you say use the calc with your other offsets, why is that when you listed the +20 offset? sorry i'm a little lost this is my first time dealing with wheels i am running megan coils if that matters. can i get a little more detail, so i can get a good fit and I want it to look good, i'm not down to look like a ***

well you obviously are not knowing at all

Camber doesnt wear tires near as much as toe does.i run like -5 or 6* of camber with no irregular wearother vip guys run more than that...like -10 with no crazy wear...

and strech isnt a hotness, its a performance advantagejesus, im not correcting your anymoreits "fvuckin rediclous"
