The 240sx I recently picked up

So I sold my 1992 Camaro and picked up an 89 240sx. I got it for $1000 and feel as if it was a excellent deal. Sold my Camaro for $1000 with 206k miles, this 240sx has 139k. My dad, on the other hands, does not agree with me. I have done some work on it already. The drivers window regulator was broken, so I picked one up for 60. The steering wheel is also off center, its a little to the right, but it does drive straight, I do not know how to fix it ... The weatherstripping on the drivers door was ripped, so I picked that up for 15. The exhaust was dragging low, so I removed everything from the headers down (including cat) and put a 2.5 inch piping with a 3a racing muffler, costing about 150 with installation and muffler. I do not have a passenger seat, which is fine because I want to install racing seats, did not come with a radio but picked one up from a friend for 35. I also want to pick up 4 alpine type-r speakers and install them on a 400 watt amp. Also had no hood hinges so I got 2 new ones for 75. Also, the key I have for the car does not work with any of the locks, trunk, drivers or passenger door. I don't know if they're stuck or just not the right key. The frame under the car is pretty rusty, I don't know if I should get it fix or just save up for a different project car. My drivers seatbelt is also, I think, off track. I can move it back and forth with my hand. It doesn't do it automatically as it is suppose to.
Here are some pictures, tell me what you think and some ideas on what I should do. My friend said the first thing I should do is cold air intake, haha. I will also upload some more pictures later, when my laptop isn't about to die.

nice man, i did the same thing.. went from a camaro to a 240.. well kinda..

i bould mine for 10k had full coverage on it and wrecked it and only got paid 3k.. dont ask me how it happend but it did.. i fought the insurence company forever and just ended up getting f***

That rusted out thing is supposed to be your cruise control solenoid.

That rusted out part is for you Cruise control, if you don't need you can chuck it, That looks pretty horrible. ^^ Ha, Hijacker beat me.^^

If that part is rusty...I'd hate to see what your frame rails, spare tire well, and battery tray look like.

I think that is ruseted as all hell because of how it didn't have hood hidges so the hood didn't lay exactly right. But it does have some. I don't know if I should fix this all up or save up for another. I'm in illinois so it'll be a bit hard to find one not so rusty for a lower cost since of winters

Damn that was a nice Camaro. My friends can do 9's on a quarter mile.

ANYHOW! I wasn't able to get more pictures tonight since of the downpour rain. The storm from wisconsin hit us bad. I swore I saw lightning hit down across the street. Tomorrow I will take tons of pictures and upload them. The car has some amount of rust (pictures tomorrow) but I don't think it was bad for $1000. I just dont know if I should fix this one up or save for another

s*** man... that thing is a lil rusty.. 2 bad they dont have kemo for cars..

and yeah on my maro.. the local track is 1/8 mile and i ran a 7.38 .. never made it 2 the 1/4 mile :/
just used it for a street toy... i fuuuucked up a v12 benz while i was on spray funny s***
