Well I was on the way to my friends house. And this "old guy" in a new beetle turbo-s passes me and I hear the turbo and it sounds like fun. So I try it. He started off in front of me, we take off Im starting to pull up on him and then he cuts me off. Oh I was pissed, I had to hit the brakes cause I thought I was gonna hit him and my little speed lost caused him to jump alittle more ahead then I wanted to, so I let out and let him have that win. Them Turbo Beetles are decent on speed.

those new turbo-s beetles have power. i don't know how much, or what they weigh or anything, but i kno they are supposed to move pretty good.

I think its like 180 or 185hp at the flywheel. I bet there pretty light to.

yea. i wasn't guessing them weighing that much. even the turbo model w/ 150HP will move i've heard. i want one of the vr6 beetles w/ the widebody kits and rims and all that stuff. like the one on gran turismo i think it is. :icesangel

haha.. yeah the golf is nice.. but still FWD.. and whats up with puting a 1.8L engen in the jetta.. stuff is slow.. oh well i dun like VW anyways

My bro has the GTI VR6. His car is pretty damn fast. I think he runs mid to high 14's. Handling is pretty crappy though. The weight dist. is awfull. I can usually hang w/ him through 2nd gear but he pulls away fast after that.
