The 10mph Difference

Since the old thread I posted in ( here ) didn't get a response, I thought I would make a thread dedicated to it and hope for better results

Some people have said that there is a 10mph difference between their indiglow gauge faces and their OEM gauge faces. Some have said their factory s13 faces only go to 110 and the replacements go to 115 but I took my cluster out the other day (I was removing the dash) and realized mine goes to 115, I have a 90 fastback. Were there 2 different factory clusters?

Some input would be greatly appreciated.

Fascinating, I wonder why some say theirs are only 110. Quicksilvia- Did you replace your cluster with the sr one, i assume?

Anything to do with the SOCH->DOHC switch?

My 91 Super Hicas goes to 110Mph.

That seems to be the only plausable explanation. Lucky for me I guess, I am sticking with the SOHC engine. Thanx everyone.

I had the 93 it only said 110 think 89-90 have 115 and 91-94 have 110
