Well I am on the last leg of my cross country family road trip with my wife, 2 dogs and my son as well as myself. I have just 1800 kms to go before I am home and talk about a great performance of a sweet little car. No shortage of power at times 75 to 80 mph in the US. GREAT economy and plenty of room and not too bad in comfort sometimes 15 hrs of driving. Sat radio was a God send and the car rode surprisingly smoothly with us and our luggage in it. I couldn't ask for a better performing vehicle. By tomorrow night I will have hit 37000 kms of which almost 11000 have been put on in the last 2.5 weeks. AND not even a hiccup from the car. Air Conditioning on the whole trip and glad it was there.

How was the A/C?

Mine dragged at times -- on full blast and could hardly keep up some days, though for the most part it did pretty good.

And I was surprised at the pep of my V -- not only kept up with traffic but led the pack at times on the 75 MPH highway [for those from the US, max speed limit in Ontario is 100 kmh/62 mph . . . even on our "superhighway", and if you aren't on the few [what are called] 400 level highways speed limit is 80 kmh/50 mph!

It was nice to actually "drive" my V on my [not nearly as long] road trip.

The a/c had a bit of problems in the real hot and humid areas but was fine otherwise. We are back now and i'm ready to do it again. It took us 18 hrs of steady driving to finish off the trip but we did it. What a great little car the V is. Not a single little problem from it. I did follow the recommended break in when I first got it so I imagine that may be a good part of it. The motor is still perfectly quiet and it has plenty pf power for this kind of trip. The money for fuel was a joke. Cost was next to nothing. Noticed at 70 mph and over fuel economy was starting to drop but up to 110 kph (65mph) it was really good. Filled up at around 600 k but the tank still had fuel, Most I put in was 10 gallons to full.
