Just wondering what it takes for all of the motors that can be put into a S chassis car to hit the magic 10,000RPM mark.

...Just wondering b/c according to my HKS E-01 turbo timer (which splices into the tach signal at the ECU so no one can claim that my tach is off) I just had a peak of 9980RPM on my little after work-the-weather-is-gorgeous cruise. And thus far, no ill effects Call it luck. Or CA power...

My fried in Japan occasionally took his CA18DET in is 180sx to 10K a few times. He had the revlimiter taken off and use to pop a piston every two weeks or so. His buddy had a 200sx with a built FJ20 that use to see 10K pretty often. I wish I was in the Air Force over there in Japan.
