Just about every visible peace of the car is in really good shape except the rear end of the vehicle. I am already am going to get a new spoiler and paint it to much. What I am wondering is what can I do to restore that black strip below the spoiler + were can I get the stickers to replace the twin turbo sticker. It was half off so I just finished the job when I bought.

I Just doubt this car and I love it so far. This thing is a dream for me right now :D

Welcome to NICO! Seems like the guys already got you the answers you needed.

So what are your plans with the car?

Yep yep thank you :)

Right now this what I am thinking. First thing I am going to do is get all the maintenance done and get the engine running just right. I am going to do the 6ps test tomorrow with my brother along with the plugs, water pump, and radiator going for a nice aluminum one that was recommended to me on this forum. Once that's done I am going to buy this http://www.frsport.com/Nissan-Genuine-O ... MgodQQEApg and go ahead and replace all of that.

After that though nothing is set in stone, but I am thinking of beefing up the turbos a little bit. upgrading the air intake system, new exhaust, and better breaks. What is for sure though is I am going to repaint the car blue. I am not sure what the exact color is called, but its going to match the color of my brothers 03 wrx. I am open to any suggestions since this is my first real performance car, and my first time really upgrading and modding.

I had a 98 Lexus GS400 before this car and all I did to that was put a cold air intake on it from K & N and put an HKS exhaust system on it so I am really looking forward to this car cause it seems like there is a lot more I can do with her :D.

Do you have a hp goal or budget? Also, as far as the 120K mile kit goes, I would suggest getting the Ramey Idler Studs. Also, if you are doing the water pump now, no reason to get another one. I would email the guys at SZ (SpecialtyZ.com) Or Kyle at IPP (ImportPartsPro.) They can get you the stuff for the 120K mile kit plus or minus other parts.

Took some more pics today :D figured I show them here instead of starting a whole new thread lol. Went on a drive with my brother in Black Forest today, so we had to stop and take pics right? My brother has a 03 wrx that he has modded a bit.

That is still up in the air  . There pretty much doors right now, if he gets a good launch on me he'll take me, but if not its doors. On highway pulls though I take him every time. He says his is faster and I say mine is lol. After I finish the maintenance work we will take them to the local track and get the 1/4 mile times.

(perfect conditions & good drivers) 1/4 mile stock for stock the WRX will win every time, highspeed pulls the WRX will run out of breath around 150 where as the Z should keep pulling all the way to the limiter. I've had both in all stages of modded madness.

His car accelerates faster, yours can actually go faster. Long distance you will win, but not on the short vs a tuned awd turbo car (unless you get tuning yourself).

Just tuning won't do squat for altering the results on this one. The 02 wrx factory tune is very close to peaked, even a stg2 wont make much of a difference (that's with full TBE). plain and simple, he will outlaunch you every time (if he knows how to launch an awd) and you will pull him up top every time.

Which is basically what happens anytime we get into it lol. He knows how to launch and he nails it about 98% of the time. Those rare times when he screws up though I take him. Anytime we have done a highway pull though I am always leading by a hair.

In this case, I meant tuning as in what a tuner does (get upgrading and tinkering), as opposed to just re-writing the ecu.

I usually call those builders, tuners tune ECUs, builders build cars. But either way lets not get into semantics, I see what you were saying. Just an FYI of what has to be done to a 02-03 wrx to run with a stock good condition 300zx to the limiter, assuming you keep the EJ205 & 3.90 drivetrain, you are looking at needing at minimum 400chp which means a bottom end build, 850+ injectors, and at the least a big 16G or equivalent sized turbo and ofcourse the supporting goodies that go with it. I LOVE Subies, will have another one (had a 02 WRX with close-to-400chp built STI powered 4.44 final drive monster of a car) someday soon that I will build to be an absolute rally monster but they are just not made to compete at high speeds, they really are bred to be rally cars. So love your Z32, it's old and has its arthritic episodes but by god what a car!

To contrast, my car has the following mods relevant to making power (1990 automatic 2+2):

-Single Cold Air Intake
-3" Exhaust (downpipes, midpipes, catback)
-Underdrive Crank Pulley
-New NGK Iridium Sparkplugs
-SpecialtyZ Chip and Tuning

That's it. Stock Engine, Injectors, Intercoolers, Turbos (automatic turbos are smaller), etc. I had it tuned in May and was at 320/320 rwhp/ft*lbs, putting the crank horsepower near the 400 mark. Sure, there's more weight, but we also have turbos that spool almost immediately vs a much larger single turbo. Unless your brother has put a crapload of money into his car, you would have no trouble getting something faster with a minimal investment.

Honestly, you are probably pretty close now, with the WRX coming with better tires probably giving him a large advantage. Chip, sparkplugs and cold air intake should run you a couple hundred and an underdrive pulley (along with overdrive water pulley) is just another ~$200 if you're doing the timing kit anyway. Exhausts can get pricey (and technically not ultra legal depending where you're from), I really think you should look at your wheels/tires after those mods.
