Okay, I hate the dead pedal in the G35. It is sloped too far forward. It is uncomfortable to use. I can't find a comfortable place to put my left leg. I saw the Stillen dead pedal, and one from Nissan, but do either of those raise the dead pedal, or just make it look spiffy? Has anyone here bought/used the aftermarket dead pedal?

Well, I did some measuring with a 2x4 and some other wood. I want to add about 2.5" - 3". I will be doing some measurments tomorrow (when I have some time to kill at work) and possibly bending up a prototype. If it goes well, and I get good fittment, I'll post up the measurements, and a how to. Should be pretty simple. And I'm with you, I won't spend $50. on a dead pedal, when I can make it for 90% less.

Made it, and it is done. I have left it out, so I can install it after I take pics. I'll post them tonight when I get home.
