That annoying 1-2 shift

Hey ppl,

Ive been trying to find some info on the annoying 1-2 shift in the 6MT. I bought my G with 17k KM and now it at 23k KM. The shift from 1-2 is getting more "rough" and its the only gear thats doing it. I don't shift very hard since I like to have a clutch that lasts a while. And the G is practically new.

From what I can recall some say its "normal", some a transmission fluid change fixed the problem (don't know for how long though), and I also heard about the clucth pedal ajustment that aparently makes this dissapear.

Can any 6MT owners chime in on this annoying problem? What did you do to fix it?

Do you hear any grinding when you shift? What about any noise when its in gear? How is your 2-3 shift...does it knock when you hit 3rd?

This may be an indication of transmission trouble...I've had my trans replaced because of those issues.

Other gears are smooth as butter, even the 3-2 shift is fine. It doesn't grind at all, it feels as if its not synchronized perfectly.

Its only 1-2 and not all the time (but most).... thats what boggles me

Seems to happen more once the transmission is at temperature.
