I just wanted to thank Greg and Bart for all their help this past weekend at GT-Live in Virginia. I had some trouble with my car and broke a tension rod on Friday during pratice. These guys proved there is loyalty among vert owners. They managed to get in touch with Ed who brought me some stock tension rods so that I can finish practice on Saturday and qualify for the final 16. I owe everything to you guys and I can't thank you enough. A double thanks to Ed for the rods, especially since I was able to drive home to Jersey. Take care guys and thanks for everything.

ok three questions 1. did you buy the roll bar like that and retrofit or is it one-off custom2. do you still have a back seat3. at what point did you headlight go out while drifting or is that 2 different events lol

1. I had to measure the size I wanted for the roll bar...ie. height, width at bottom and top and at shoulder height. I sent the measurements to a roll cage shop in pennsylvania called Autoweldhttp://autoweldchassis.com/index2.ivnu It took them about 3 weeks to measure and ship out. Total was about $450 shipped. $152 for 4pt roll bar. (+$40 because it was a custom bar. +$100 because I wanted 1-3/4" DOM steel) and about $40 for the harness bar. +$125 shipping 2. No backseats. The roll bar is welded in and the rear braces are welded to the wheel wells. I had to cut out some of the sheet metal by the wheel wells to fit the rear braces in. Then I have the harness bar spanning accross the wheel wells. Bart Has pictures of it so when he posts them you can see it. 3. Damn sylvania headlights. they kept going out on me. I think the bulbs are bad. But I hit the lights on and the high beams transitioning for the apex and one of the high beam bulbs was out. All the same event.

it's been a few months, i'll have to look for them. You can just call up Autoweld in PA and have him make it for you.

The web page tells you how to measure it. Mine is very high and it pushes up on the top a little. I had it made this high because I am very tall. i needed it to clear when I have my helmet on.
