Is there an emissions test in California?

If you have custom exhaust work done make sure that you'll be able to pass any emission tests.

if you want it to still pass emisions i replace the stock cats with High Flow Cats(they still pass) and then replace the stock resonators with magnaflows and if its too loud for you add another muffler on the back where the stock one is...

find a reputable muffler shop in your area...they should be able to get everything you need...the way your car is setup now is that it has 2 cats, then 2 resonators, ending in one muffler with dual tips...replace the stock cats with High flow cats(make sure the people you get them from will GUARANTEE theyll pass emissions), replace the resonators with magnaflows or any other free flowing mufflers, then finally have each individual pipe come out the back and weld on the tips...final result should look something like this although the guy who did mine was kinda drunk(i made the mistake of offering him a beer in the middle of the job) but you get the idea...personally i took this time to have them increase the pipe size to 2 1/4'' from 1 7/8'' to begin with...if its too loud for your liking you can get some better resonators that will fit and put them after the magnaflors but before the tips somewhere in the equation...

the end result will look something like thisand the cats will look something like this but will come before the picture above

hope this helps

as long as your happy who cares about anyone else right?
