Post

I recently made some growling remarks from leaving this place due to Infiniti abandoning me geographically and with the vehicle line. Instead of a "don't let the door hit your backside" responses, you folks gave me mostly "Stick around, we have fun no matter what we drive" remarks, and I appreciate that.

I almost left here Sunday under circumstances other than those contemplated. Long story short, I tripped over a corner of a hearth, drove my head directly into a chair rail outside corner, and darned near ripped my scalp off. Got a great ambulance crew quickly, and the first ER gave me four units of blood before sending me to the trauma center at the local med school hospital, putting a trauma RN in the truck for the ride. Spent three days in ICU, and sit here now with about 9 inches of staples in my head. They said that if we hadn't called 911 immediately, I'd have bled out on my family room floor.

So, it's good to be here. Hope you all have a lovely Thanksgiving.

Holy shat!!!! Glad you are OK and healing.

BTW, you are a permanent fixture here regardless of what car you drive. Life and vehicles move on but you don't have to leave your forum buddies :)

Happy Thanksgiving to you as well :dblthumb:

Yes, I came on board here just when Becki had traded for the 370Z and was changing her forum handle. And you and I have had more than one conversation about Ford muscle and pony cars. My first car was a Mustang, and I once owned a '70 Torino with a 351 Cleveland and a Hurst shifter.

This is a nice place. I need to come 'round more often.

We all need to come around more often. This forum used to hold its own but it has drastically dropped off. Most of us have gotten too busy with life it seems.
