whats up man, yea you get an ecu out of an automatic 240sx with the same engine as your own and just plug and play. It has no rev limiter. As far as i know, we pushed Billys 240sx as fast as it would go, i know over 5500 rpms. It didnt cost us anything, i went to get a fender for my 240sx s13 and we just kind of um.... took it. Your supposed to bump up the timing a little but Billys 240 runs fine and never shuts off.

Why do you need to raise the rev limiter? Or do you mean speed limiter? And just check your local junk yards for an ecu out of an s14 with an auto or use the faq section of 240sx.org. I would explain the process (as i did for him also) but i am not sure if it would work on an S14.

You could SEARCH!!!

We told him to do it when he asked and i am telling you now, but i hope i helped you find the answer you are looking for.

Oh and Jlnissan240sx you are welcome, just be careful at those speeds. I dont want to read a thread about some retard crashing into someone at 115+ after we helped him reach those speeds

i told u guys how to get rid of the speed limiter REV LIMITER why would u want to get rid of that planning on blowing ur engine? dont waste money on an auto ecu just snip ur 4th and 5th governor wires that go to ur ecu=no speed limiter and no check engine light....enough said..sorry im better now

I am going to say this one more time. I personaly tried all the wire cut tricks and they did NOT &^$#&# work at all I had less top speed less rev limit and the car felt like shizzle in all gears, from not knowing how much fuel to give for the speed I was at.

Well then you did something wrong. Mine works fine and I taken my car to 7K in 4th. Directions are in the FAQs zerohelp follow them very carefully and you will be good. I say this from experience.

the rev limiter is set at 5200rpms in 5th, and shuts off at 114, i can take my 240sx to 7k with the rev limiter still set. Your wire trick didnt do anything unless 5th keeps on goin.

u dont need 2 go that fast anyway your trap speed in the/4 should be 83-91 tops....therefore u dont need to go that fast for the things like u 2 do...

91RMK this is the site I got info and tried to do with that link and all. IT DID NOT WORK. I SAY THIS FROM EXPERIENCE. I tried cutting the y/g wire 8th down and bam 70mph in 4th and 85mph in 5th around 3k. Then tried doing that plus 4th ,5th disconnect. Nothing still, then with y/g wire connected. Same crap.Swapped auto ecu in and worked great. This is not hear or see say it's my personal knowledge.

Hey neverlift sorry if i angered you at all that was one of my late night posts. Is your car S13 or S14? Mine is an S13 (KA24DE) if that makes a difference. You might check your ecu to see if it is throwing any codes (Mine tells me there is a problem with the speed sensor. Duhh ). Maybe that might help you .
