Sweet!

So the rear Nissan emblem doesn't use two pins to hold it in? If it did, it should leave two holes behind when removed.

If that's the case I'm going to remove my Nissan emblem too!

I was concerned about that as well, so I bought a roll of 3M emblem tape(grey double backed tape) just in case, I was relieved it didn't have the alignment pins!

what did you use to take them off? And doesn't it leave some kind of residue? What did you use to clean that? I am planning on to take mine off too!!

I used a small screwdriver under the edge of each emblem, take care not to scratch the paint, and lifted them off the vehicle. I then used an industrial box tape, gorilla tape may work, and pulled off the double back tape. After the double back tape was all gone, I used soap and water, then wax to clean up each area.

Debadged my suzuki motorcycle; Goo gone(several applications) and an old credit card got all the left over tape off. Fishing line behind the badges to remove them(no scratch potential like a screwdriver).

Another tip.. use a hair dryer to heat it up a bit... don't leave it forever or you'll hurt the paint, but enough to heat up the glue behind the badges.. they'll peel off much easier then.

Use goo-gone or go to an auto parts store and get some wax and grease remover and that will pull off all the glue residue really easily.

Finally make sure you wax the area nicely after your done and it's all dry and clean. A nice coat of wax will really help the finish stay nice.
