I'd like to thank the forum members for all the how to's and FSM's that has helped me with my recent Pathfinder purchase!!

So far I've done the following with your help:
-R/R the transmission fluid and filter
-Changed engine oil/filter
-Changed out the fuel filter
-Recharged the A/C system
-Installed Cabin filter (had to cut out the plastic pieces, but it was actually pretty easy thanks to the walkthrough!!)
-pulled out all the seats and detailed the carpet

Still need to do:
-Flush out coolant (looks pretty easy)
-Spark Plugs (driver side looks like a real pain, anyone have a good method?)
-Rear Differential (tried taking the fill plug out first, based on a members suggestion but no luck, will WD-40 help?)
-Fix rear passenger door lock (won't lock or unlock when either remote or drivers switch is activated)
-Fix front passenger window switch? (window won't go down but will go up)

BTW my car is a 1999.5 Pathfinder 4x2.

Thanks!!

There's one b**** of a spark plug on your engine. All the Pathys of your year with a were given special spark plug removal tools, in a leather tool bag under the rear seats. The longer one is for plugs 1 - 5, which aren't too bad; and the short one is for that elusive plug 6 that you can't even see.

If you don't have these tools, you might be able to make up some Frankenstein tool out of extensions and u-joints to reach it. But if you're in an area where other members are, I'd just try and beg/borrow the tool from someone.

I'm guessing it's the drivers side plug by the firewall? I haven't looked at the tool kit yet so I'll take it a look at it over the weekend. I have some universals and various extensions so I'll five it a shot. Thanks for the tip Densetsu!
