I really appreciate all the info that everyone has provided me. I would love the 3.5 but like someone pointed out its thousands more and the rent in New Orleans has went up hundreds a month since Katrina. I have not yet test drove either car because doing so I know that I will want to get the car that day. I am trying to wait until i get out of my apartment complex to get my new car becasue i am tired of people putting dings on my present car while they park. I was suprised that when i got a quote from teh dealer with a 2.5 convience package and floor mats he sent me a price of $21,987 which was under the msrp price by at least a grand from the price i got from the NissanUSA.com. I just cant seem to make up my mind on what color i want. I have seen the picutres that people have posted here of the super black, off white silver and i think red which all look good but does how does pictures of the slate? One last thing, I think I read somewhere on another website that the car has bad blindspots in the back...is that true?

I would say yes, I'm still nervous about backing up in my 2.5S, but it's mostly the height of the rear end -- I'm afraid I'm missing short things that might be behind the car. In terms of blind spots in traffic, I think it's possible -- there's poor visibilty over one's left shoulder.

With that said, I don't think it's much worse than any similar car -- the blind spots are different than in the Talon I used to drive, but not any worse.

They have blind spot mirrors to help with the blind spots. And they really do help.
