Friday afternoon I was leaving the movies w/ my gf and it was dark out already so i'm doing like 70 on the hwy when I hit a HUGE pot hole..I did'nt see it. So the war is wobbling and I was saying to myself I hope its the tire and nothing else. So i'm driving hoping to make it home home with whatever problem I got but two exits before mine the car starts shaking reallly bad. So I pill over and I see a HUGE hole in my tire. Like I stuck my index and middle finger through it. There was no light so I couldn't change it so I drive 20ft the exit before mine and pulled over at a D&D parking lot and we changed the tire.

Luckily the rim did not get bent, but when I took off the tire all the rubber was on the floor..it was mess. I didn't get a chance to take pictures bc it was dark out and I went to Marvis tire discount to get a new tire. They already threw it out so I couldnt get a pic.

Now I know it was just a flat, but it was my first flat while driving and i'm thankful that I didn't spit out of control or crashed into anybody. The impact that the car made when it hit the pot hole was reallllly bad like from the sound you could tell something was F'ed up.

Sucks man, I've had too many flats. All of them my fault, just not paying attention and taking corners too tightly I would say is my only problem.

On the subject of being alive though. Late last year me and my best friend were at the tattoo shop and she was getting her first tattoo (professional). We were friends with the artist so instead of cutting it up into two days she just kept the shop open for an extra hour or so to finish the tattoo. Anyways, it's about 2-230 in the morning when they finish up and we say our goodbyes and hop in the car. I'm always a bit nervous because I know cops are on the prowl at this time. There are quite a few bars in a ton of college kids in the downtown area we were in. That and considering it's a Friday night and bars just closed.

So we hop on the road and within two blocks I see this car coming and it seemed a bit strange but I thought I was just being paranoid. Then as he got closer I realize this guy is driving on the wrong side of the road. He was going about 35 or 40 mph (kind of hard to gauge). There was an island in the road so it's not like either of us were going to the other side either. I wasn't sure if he was going to avoid me and switch to the other lane, or if I should do it. Knowing there was no time to see if he would I threw my car to the right lane and he passed right on by.

That was definitely the scariest driving experience I had.

I've actually ran over a rock that with my Acura CL that didn't blow out the tire but rather blew a hole through the rim Since I was running low-pros, there wasn't a lot of space between the tire and the rim hence the blow out.
