Well xmas is over, the new year is coming, and with it many changes. After much thought and uncertinity, i have decided the steps and direction of my project. Well ladies and gents, here goes my mod list

SII RB25DET BlockARP HeadstudsRB26DETT CrankWiseco 87mm Pistons (RB26)Tomei HeadgasketTomei Oil OrificeThagard Speed Shop machined rodsARP rod boltsN1 Oil & Water pumpHaltech E6kApexi AVCRWalbro 255R33 GTST DifferentialOS Giken Twin Plate Clutch800cc InjectorsSARD FPRSARD R2D2 BovTomei Poncam Valve Springs (cams soon)Custom Twin Turbo Setup running twin EV0 III 16Gs (Genuine MHI)Custom Intake manifold from Nateco

Right now i am prepping chassis, for rest removal and frame repair(rust), and hoping to have it out of my garage within 2 weeks, the engine needs minor machine work and will be shipped out within 1 week for the entire longblock to be assembled. The exhaust manifolds will be shipped out within the month for flange modification, and shiped out to be ceramic coated as well as the turbo exhaust housings. As long the the chassis can be repaired at a decent pricing i will then start the tedious process of rewiring the 'minor' wiring needs of the haltech. So once i have all parts complete it will make my install a lot smoother. Tonight i will be posting pictures of all my little goodies, i am basically looking for some input and oppinions, if you think i am doing something foolish, or stupid let me know. i plan on documenting this whole rebuild, and wouldnt mind any insight or help. Well folks, work beckons.... but please give some input !!

pretty impressive list of parts. i have to ask if you're getting all these other baller parts, why skimp on the fuel pump? might as well get a tomei pump shipped with all your other tomei parts. that or if you can find a GT-R (r33 or 34) pump for cheaper. walbro pumps make me cringe.

Man I would really like to see the pics of the custom TT setup that sounds sweet. I have only seen a few TT RB25's in Aussie.

i'm curious as to why you are doing a twin setup? i'm guessing because you could source those turbos for cheap? Anyways, good luck man

well for my power goals 500/600ish those turbos would be cheaper than a gt40r and manifold and spool faster !!! and honestly to be a lil differant

What are you gonna do for downpipes? Can you make them yourself? Cuz I feel that's gonna be the hardest and most expensive part of doing twins. It's gonna be sweet though, good luck!

exh mani is a rb26 manifold from taiwan, with exh flange chopped and a rb 25 flange welded on came to 500bux, and i am gunna ceramic coat it satin for heat, and yes down pipes are gunna suck, but with the top mount twin setup it will make it slightly easier, and for intake i am gunna make a intake chamber ala ARC, this should be done within 3 months, heh with long block and chassis prep taking 1 month but at the same time, to that makes it feb, then from feb to march dp fab, it saves me becaus i am getting a lot of it done at once !!! pics tonight i promis !!!

Thagard Speed Shop machined rods......is that "fully machined" (forged billet block then machined to shape) or it's smoothen-out stock rods?

Wow!!! Those pics scare the **** out of me! I had the same problem with the second pic. I had it welded. Once car is running the otherside will get welded.

yeah my rear frame rails by the gas tank area are showing signs of rust but nothing of that degree. What exactly are the typical ways of fixing a problem like that?

well i was actuall told the frame was the ez part hehe, just cut grind and weld in new frame section, if it cost to much i am gunna strip chassis down to nothing and sell as a roller and get an s14 heh but i dont wanna do that

Where did you get an RB26 crank and still have your arms and legs? And with all those high dollar mods, why did you decide on a std Walbro 255 l/h pump? I would highly advise something better than that if you are shooting for >17 psi boost. Speaking of boost, what are you planning on using for boost control? I don't know much about Haltech, so can you explain the setup a little bit?

I also have a OS Giken Twin Plate Clutch and flywheel sitting in my garage waiting for my current one to give out.

I'm curious to hear your opinion of the clutch after you get your car running.

i heard owning a green s14 zenki that has a high powered rb20 makes you GAY. anyway if you go s14 you'll have to go kouki. i dont care if you have to slap on the 97,98 front end... it has to be done.

back on point... just cage the hatch, that should fix any problems with rigidity

dont forget to add arp mains to that list, im weary of reusing rod and main bolts on a high performance motor.

i forgot i got all arp bolts, as for boost control i have an apexi avcr, i got a fuel cooler, (basically a inline heatsink) and i am undecided on the fuel pump, many people have told me that a walbro 255 HP is perfect , but i honestly love sard products, so i would look into a sard pump as well as the sard radiator breather tank instead of coolant overflow plastic thingy. I got the rb26 crank while i was in iraq, a friend of mine delievered it to my other friend (short block) for i think 200 !!!! well i think my chassis is toast, so i am gunna be looking into another chassis, but i am gunna get more estimates, i got tons of loot tied into my s13 so i would want another s13 so i wont need new mounts and driveshaft (not sure if my existing ones will work on s13) but s14 has grew on me !!!!

arp does NOT make a direct kit for the rb25 for the main studs ... you can use a datsun l28 kit and buy the few different sized bolts or you can buy each sized bolt/washer from summitracing.

Just for the record. I hate you for getting an RB26 crank for $200. You should be ashamed of yourself

I agree with you for going with a larger fuel pump than a walbro right off the bat. It is a great pump for most people and their power goals, but if you are rebuilding your motor and increasing the power levels significantly then you should go bigger.

FYI-compulsiveHP.com has the ARP main bolt set nailed down. Jim Caldwell is a great guy to work with. I just wish he would be a sponsor on here to get the word out a little more. Maybe one of the moderators could contact him about that?? B&E Customs also has them I believe, but the set is significantly more expensive because "they did their homework" and think they are justified in raping you on price.

well i am gunna be ordering those arp mainbolts this week, before i send motor to machine shop, hopefully i get a accurate estimate on body work so i know if i am keeping my current chassis, once i know if i am i will start next phase of my project, which will be chassis prep, or selling it and removing all my xtras
