Went to drop off some spare parts for my interior and check out how the stitching came out (This is basically the color theme for the interior... more or less, dark charcoal and a good deep red.

The new skins for the seats were also ready but I didn't get any pics cause they were still being padded, but they look sick too, I'll see if I can get some pics of them on.

This car is phenominal. I might have to do a road trip in my Z from Alberta just to look at this wondrous piece of work, lol. Mad props though TG, super jealous.

more progress today -- seat skins are done (I forgot a shot of the seat shoulders), should be done by next week!

The bottom of the seat, leather and alcantara.

The headrest, leather.

the back insert.

some more panel work:

I'm so stoked!

Could that be a vq45? How much does this guy charge for that artwork??

I wish, the interior shop has been taking their time on it :\ I guess they ran into some issues with the door panels since my Z's interior was in pretty bad shape before. I've been getting the typical 'in a few days' for the last week or so. Time for a visit methinks. I'll probably swing by for some pictures tomorrow... apparently the rest is done. I didn't want to ruin the 'seeing it all done for the first time' effect by peeping on it before it was finished, but it might be this way.

Don't ruin the effect then. It will be AWEsome if your reveal all the upholstery stuff at once after its done. Question- Have you shifted from the Remus exhaust or are you doing a combination?

It's still going to be remus pipes, just not the pre-made remus axle-backs cause they're stupid expensive here and I can get the exact same sound with a switchable x-pipe custom made. No point in payin 1500$ extra for remus to weld some pre-bent tubes onto their mufflers.

body shop pics on Monday (sorry I never got around to posting the final interior shots, I have them around somewhere!). They've been going pretty hard getting the kit fitted and glassed on... I think they're aiming to have it done within a week or two.

Oh, thanks. The first time I saw a picture of a Z1 I thought it must have influenced the z32 design, to me it looks like a car design in between the z31 and z32 and the release dates are also in the same order.

I would love to do the body work on my own (and I loved doing it in the past) but I don't have a proper garage to do it in ;( Hopefully I'll have a garage for that in a few months :D

Why is your Z32 mooning us?

Looks like prep for paint. Did you take off the door yourself? If so, notice how heavy that sucker is?

Yeah took the doors off cause we gotta fill the recessed black strip. :D (and yes they're stupid heavy). Front fenders too are already fitted and ready to go. I expect it to be done later this week and ready to paint by the weekend, probably Saturday, then delivered early next week. Still need to find a front bumper ffs, f*** greddy.

The before shot covered with the black cloth looks money :bigthumb:
