Those welds are gorgeous, I'm jealous of that dude's skills. and that motor can't be a RB I think all RBs are inline. please correct me if I am wrong but those COPs look like the work of VW-AG.

RB's are straight 6 that's clearly a v series something. Nice suspension work, can't go wrong with spl, and those breaks look very nice still a 4 pot?

that is an audi engine, funny thing...it's actually my friends set up. The guy was building his kit, twin 2871's with Tial Vband housings. 2.6l block with 2.8l heads (i.e. 2.7l) (obviously in an S4). I'll get some pics for you guys, but yes I personally know him and he is a very good friend...the work is simply amazing

nice work TG can't wait to see it all done up

Bloody awesome project...

Things like this make me want to drive up to the bank and go for the entire lot in one go instead of saving up and buy things in pieces...

I would save a fare bunch in postage!

Anyway, keep up with it!

Couple questions regarding the wheels...Aren't they too heavy? (For the price tag maybe they aren't)Isn't 19'' going to hurt the handling or you're more into going straight batman style?

Cheers,Vítor

19" is the smallest size they make these rims in, which to be honest was 1" more than I had wanted originally, but I am starting to like the look of it, we'll see how handling is when I get it to the track. I think with more contact area and fully adjustable suspension with proper camber it should handle much better, but that remains to be seen. They are undoubtedly heavier than what was on there originally, but they also have about 25% more wheel/tire so that's understandable.

If I remember correctly, the biggest problem about going over 18'' is that the tires had to have such a small side wall that would be too unforgiving making the car snappy. Great traction but once you loose it, it goes big time...

Also over less then perfect surficies they would be not as constant as a 18'' (or less for that matter).

Anyway, if you're willing to increase your overall wheel diameter, you can minimize this effects...

Theres also weight problems with bigger wheels. 18 is really the sweetspot, but those wheels you got are f****** gorgeous!

I wanted 18's originally cause the rubbers are cheaper and they look pretty much the same, BUT these wheels only come in 19

Anyways, dyno tomorrow night 100%

Nobody is as pissed as me, the guy who was supposed to dyno my car left for 3 months during the winter so I guess i'll have to wait

On the other hand, his shop was very cold and if he tuned it at this cold temperature, it would need to be retuned in the spring when temps picked up or it would run like dirt, still sucks, but what can you do when you have 1 competent tuner for nissans in your city?

So body work and interior I suppose until spring. Big dissapointment, I was expecting some great numbers but I wasn't around to crack the whip so I guess I gotta wait.

Any news on when your pal will be able to do the tune? Getting close to spring and I'm itching for some new TG Z roar madness!

well the widebody is clearing customs right now, and the interior shop should be done with the interior next week (hopefully). My tuner is back beginning of april.

Somewhere in between I have to get it in the exhaust shop so the guy can weld up my custom, switchable butterfly-valve (you can switch between resonated and unresonated with a switch) x-pipe and custom axle-back, so that'll take a few days in between... I'm aiming for mid april. I'm going to drop by the interior shop and check up on progress.
