Is there any part of the z community down here? From what I've seen from the forums and YouTube a lot of it is up north.

There are a couple folks on the forum from Texas, I think I may be the only one that's semi-active. We'll see if your post forces some folks out from under the rocks.

Hopefully, I know some of the more ridiculous turbo cars are down here thanks to the freedom the state gives us with mods and emissions not being so strict

Where are you? Emissions are a b**** in Harris county (Houston) and as far as I know in Travis County (Austin) and whetever the counties in DFW are. That said ttzd and TT.net do seem to have quite a few big number turbo members. I personally stick to Nico through, much more friendly community here.

Yeah this forum has a lot more info and replies to somewhat controversial subjects. I'm from central Texas, Guadalupe/Bexar/Comal area. Emissions aren't really a problem unless you have a hoodstack around here.

Very nice, I'm envious, I love the roads out there, Canyon lake is pure joy to cruise around.

The landscaping is gorgeous but the actual roads are trash

Still nice to cruise, last time I was out there was in my STI in 2011 so the road quality matched the car (RALLY!!!!) haha.

That's a shame with the roads, same around here though where the beautiful scenery gets lost a bit sometimes with dealing with avoiding all manner of crap, bad roads and bad drivers both. Hell, recently the DOT doesn't seem to clean up the road after accidents so often you also suddenly get to drive through a mess of glass and bits and pieces of some idiot's poor car...two flats to fix in the last two months alone!

2011?? Bummer. As long as you can avoid the crash debris and tire treads people leave behind, there are some sick wind about roads to unwind on, and if your into the whole rally thing there's plenty of unpaved roads as well.

Have to check that out soon, it'd be sweet to have some sort of meet with what there is of the community down here but I don't foresee that happening lol
