That would be cool, but first I need to get my car going - I also googlemapped it and it shows 161 miles from my house. That's kinda far - TWS is closer to me. Isn't there a track in sugarland that opened up in the last year or so? Please advise.

Thanks,Nick.

Car: lots of unique hot rods, and customs, with modern engines, and a good truck to pull the trailer.

Here is San Marcos they have a new one, supposed to be SICK!!! Have a few customers who have taken their toys out to play there.

Is this the guy on the rig I have chatted with on phone? not sure who kbflip is but guessing by the j30.

That track is worth the cost and drive. Nick heard mine on phone tonight. Ask him how it sounds. Just gotta get clutch issue better, and new radiator, after a few easy miles on it, a new oil pan is coming in to the picture. Just gotta say that this engine is amazing in sound.

Nick, bring the M3 to play if the Z is not ready.

The manual shift auto I have is like a manual just without the clutch. Could be a good option for you?

that sounds like that would appease her but i used the search and didnt find much info on it...also im wondering how difficult it would be to put that in the J...im still not sure how much massaging would need to be done to put the VH into the J let alone a different transmission....but that is definately an option

You gotta get over here and see this thing. FN SICK. OH that'd make a good plate. It goes up in 3 weeks. How's the rig? Glad Bonnie missed ya'll. I'd hate to be paying a buck more a gallon.

Like we chated about earlier. With a VH45, and the trans, you can put it into your car without much fabbing, more wiring, and physical fitment. ONLY in the J30, it seems to fit way too well in there. With the q's trans, driveshaft may need redone, with the j30 trans, and q's bell, no issues, and since you have a ?10 trans, it seems more feasable. WIth your 255, you have the fuel, you have sweet injectors, buy 2 more, and you are closer then most. If you need help, swing by. I plan to take the car out to that track before it goes, so if you guys want to make a fun day, within a month, let me know.Thanx, craig

Try Wholesale Automatics in Australia. That is where I got mine from. They have a website with all the info.

Craig's motor did indeed sound real good! As far as the track I'll need to coordinate against family obligations as well. Craig I'd bring the M3 but I decided to sell it. As nice as it was it ended up becoming a commuter car which wasn't my original intention for it. I had a Q45t and the Z and was planning on selling both and using the M3 as a compromise of the 2. Sold the Q but the Z lost its motor which put the whole plan in the toilet. Anyway, long story short ended up with a high performance car as a commuter car and a higher performance car in the garage in the works. I went and picked up an 08 civic ex coupe for the daily driver and can devote my full energy (and budget) to the Z versus sprinkling it between 2 cars.

I'll have the Z running in short order so I can bring it to the track, as soon as I can get all these parts back from the 3rd parties that are doing work on them.

I'll post pics as the parts start to trickle in.

Thanks,Nick.

That sucks on the vote against the track - it would've been really cool! Anyway, you can stop on by whenever you'd like, I'm in the Woodlands area, but I would say you'll see progress if you stop by in about a month after I get a lot of these parts I'm having work done on back and installed.

Thanks,Nick.

Yeah that track would have been cool, only reason one got biult in San Marcos, is $$, it brought a lot of people into the area, for a new reason(most come for floating the river, or safari trips) they did do a great job with this track though.
