well i got rid of the rb20 s13 coupe and got myself a project '97 s14. lol needs A LOT, but as i cant legally drive untill 2015, i figure i should have a pretty bad a** whip by then.

sits on aftermarket tokico shocks, stock springs. motor work is irrelevant as thats coming out at a later date anyway. but if anyone is interested its a ka24de, injen intake, and some fancy shmancy blue plug wires, has a short shifter too. (for sale btw)

i plan on makin it look how i want then droppin in another rb, thinking 25 this time.

first and foremost goin kouki, then well see where things lead from there.

already gutted it and cleaned everything, it was dirtier than a hamster cage, still need to replace a few interior pieces as they are cut or broken or missing. airbag was deployed, but i have another. sunroof seal was retarded, mostly just missing lol, so i threw a whole new one in, wish i took pics of that process in case anyone wanted to see what that entails, but oh well, at least i dont have to tarp this b**** anymore.


but anyway heres a couple pics until i can take some real ones, just wanted to get this thread started.













interior is back together now but this is when i had most of it out wiping everything, and vaccuuming








as you can see its got a long way to come so wish me luck. i figure if this isnt a sick nasty car by the time i can legally drive it, im a complete waste of life lol.

title says 97, and the vin numbers match. and nah i got screwed on the deal kinda. but i needed that car gone or i would have ended up in jail for being a habitual offender of driving under suspension. i look at it as i did someone a favor in life, and kept myself outta jail at the same time.

car was pieced together, i dont think the tailights and the green drivers door are from a 97, niether of them seem to fit right, not bad, but not right. the hood and fenders are off a 95. but do explain as im kinda new to the s14 world, and absorbing all knowledge i can find

doors shouldn't matter if there from a zenki or kouki

and the tail lights will fit also. but they are not kouki tails.

id build it as a zenkie with full navan. but its not my car lol

nah i know none of it is kouki, lol i want to go kouki. whats the differences between 95-96 and 97-98?

The main 2 differences have been noted. Different front end (hood, lights, fenders, etc). And different taillights.

Yes please do kouki front and tails, i would be one sad s14 if i got downgraded to zenki status. Its cool its an SE so you won't have to convert to 5lug. Keep us updated can't wait to see it all done up like the 13 in your sig.

nice thats what i thought. its a 97 though, title and vin match, on the door sill it says it was made 6/97, with matching vin. so either someone went through a lot of trouble to fraud this car as a 97, or its a 97.
