Guys,I want to know what sort of parts we are interested in here.... IF any

It looks as if I may be getting another Q (unless something else really stellar pops out), so Im going to keep some stuff off my Q..

Anyway, basically the only stuff Id want to keep is some of the engine stuff, like injectors, CAS, MAF, KS, FPCU and some other various things of that nature (and probably stuff you woudlnt buy off a junk Q anyway), and some other random odds and ends... Other than that, anything else is game.....

Basically everything on the car is pretty good, all the interior is good except for the front seats... The passenger side front seat BACK is golden and hte back seats are OK..... Door panels look new, except for some scuffs... New bose amps in the back, CD CHANGER, and so on...

The chrome piepans may/maynot be for sale... Ill start accepting offers, and if I dont get what I want ill keep em!

He might want to buy the other Q first, before buying a 2nd parts car.

I thought I was being funny, but Wes takes the cake by not even flinching at my "parts car" reference. Careful Wes, that humor is sailing *right over* your head.

If you do pull the trigger - I'd go for the fogs and the rear Bose Amps/speakers - or did someone mention the acoustic characteristics were differentiated by the Bose guys for each and every model year ? I've actually planned on throwing in a working old set while I shipped these ones back to Bose for the full Monte -

Right now the rear amps are from an I30 but they sound great (IMHO better than the stock Q amps).....

I am not going to be too picky about this kind of stuff, nor do I know the junkyard value of these things (yet )

I will negotiate prices when i get the chance... HOwever, I wont make anything final UNTIL I get the car back home...

Also, are the 90-96 doors compatible????

I found this thread late, I had replied to your other one...I am very interested in the hood, both fenders, both headlights, both cornerlights, both fog lights and front bumper cover.

For those of you who have expressed interest in those parts please don't think that I am trying to step on your toes, but I did request them first in another thread.

Oh, don't worry, there will be at least three or four more threads, several polls, a couple of thread hijackings, etc. about what may or may not be available at some unknown date for some price to be determined sometime down the line some day in the future, maybe. Then again, maybe not.

Hands off my Bose amps!

Actually, I'm only interested in the fronts. And only if I can afford them. So sort of put me in line for them.Rear tail light assembly.Hmmm... not much else I could want. So many new parts on my Q. Someone else has dibs on under-plenum hoses.OH, the fuel lines... the two little ones going in and out of the fuel filter.

Tokico shocks, with new boots... I will sell the whole assy (spring, strut, and as new dust boot) as one piece... They have less than 10k on them and just getting broken in...

Cooling fan IIRC is pretty good

Yes to both, clarion 6 CD

sure

Compressor and HVAC control unit is good... Not sure if the compressor will work the same, maybe someone can confirm

Remember that the '90 Q uses R-12 and the '94 uses R-134a. Assuming the compressor bolts up, it will need a good flushing at the very least.

Robert... Do you know if the 9093/94-96 shocks are the same...

I have a feeling they juts have different specs, like rebound characteristics and so on...

Jeff, if we go this route, I would certainly be able to sell them, and if they didnt work then you could send them back for a full refund, but we KNOW the rear ones will work...

Wes guess you'll have to try fitting the shocks, I have no idea if they'll work. The bottoms just bolt on so there's a chance that the clevis part isn't the exact same width. If the knuckle bodies are the same the bottoms will bolt up, and if the top caps are the same the top will bolt up, leaving only a possible difference in relaxed height I think.
